Got my pending payment today with the message:

"Thank you for all your support over the years. We fought hard but over the years it became obvious that to compete against the big players required a ton of marketing money and it was going to be an uphill battle. I have now moved on to workfull time on my software development company Spiral Scout but I wish you all the best and please stay in contact. John"

I submitted to Cutcaster for a few months in 2013-2014 and stopped after only a couple hundred images online once it became clear they had high rejection rates and low sales, making them not worth the effort.  My last sales there were in 2015 but I kept my account open in case they turned things around.

I also received the notice from Paypal that they had sent me my measly $11.04 - out of 22 agencies I have contributed to over the past 11 years, they were number 21 for sales (only Yay is worse).  However, kudos to them for paying at the end rather than slinking off in bankruptcy and reneging on their debts like Crestock.  Thank you Cutcaster for honoring your obligations and paying contributors their earnings, no matter how small, as you walk off into the microstock sunset (to join the increasingly large graveyard of dead microstock companies).  That is how to close down a company with dignity.  R.I.P.
