Yes, I'm still uploading to Crestock, more out of a sense of adventure than any hope of having anything accepted, much less sold.  I upload ten new images for every sale, which, as you may imagine, doesn't require much time.  Anyway, after emails this morning announcing two more sales (and a whopping .50 added to my balance), I uploaded twenty more images and went to attach model releases.  And that's where the fun began.

Most of the twenty were of the same model, so I clicked on the Select All checkbox.  To my surprise, every single checkbox on the page got selected, not just the images but all the models too.  And the Display Description checkbox, which caused the page to be reloaded and all the images to be unselected.  Nice job with the site update, guys.

I wonder how long this has been broken.  Given my success there and the success others report, I guess I won't be surprised if it's been broken for quite some time without anybody noticing.  And yes, I did report it to the management.

I stopped uploading long ago because rejections were high and subs clearly were the norm.

Good you notified them. I haven't uploaded in the last few weeks but I do keep updated there with my uploads. Agreed there is slow sales and tight reviews but upload is at least painless. I don't even check on the results of the review though. I think I would only be frustrated.

I have some stuff on Crestock.

I feel kind of guilty about it though, because of how cheap their subs are.  Considering how rare sales are, though, it probably doesn't make any difference.

I still think the only way we will get more than $0.25 for subs in the future is to avoid the sites that are paying us that now.  Why would other sites pay us more if crestock can get away with it, even with their low sales volume?

Is it just a coincidence that istock only pay non-exclusives $0.25 for photos.com subs?  I could make a few extras dollars a month if I uploaded everything to crestock but if other sites freeze or lower subs commissions, I could lose a lot more.  It just isn't worth it.

The ftp won't connect at the moment, either.

I stopped uploading there ages ago. They are the worst site of all as far as contributors go. The commission is an insult, and the rejections just stupid.

When (if) they get reviewers with just a bit of an idea what they are doing, I will consider uploading there again. In the meantime I sell three of four photos a month, so in 100 years I may just get enough for a payout. As long as they keep the most incompetent reviewers in the history of photography, I'll stay clear.

Crestock? You mean this site I am logging once a month to figure out that I got ONE sale? I must be insane believing that it is going to change.

To get in, hit forgot password, then get the email, then log in with the reset password - then change it.  good to go.  ftp still down though, which stinks.

I loged in and changed the password .....and guess what I know again can't login....
I think it needs time to change something and get in their data base.....

Yeah, HTTP upload doesn't work either.  Not that it matters.  Hardly any sales there even when you can get images on the site.

Really?  FTP worked for me today.
