I guess holiday is officially over so I can ask a little bit silly question:

How flying hot dog is related to this holiday? It comes on the first page when you do search for "memorial day".

Memorial Day is traditionally the start of summer season here. Lots of picnics, barbeque cookouts etc. Hot dogs a picnic and backyard celebration staple. Also prolific at summer fairs and ball games etc.

Some in USA have lost sight of what the holiday actually stands for, and that is remembrance of war dead.
