Whats happening at Crestock are they on holiday?
I've had images waiting for over 4 weeks to be reviewed. This is the longest I've waited there, it usually only takes them a couple of weeks to reject my images maybe the extra wait will mean they will accept a few more this time. One can only hope....
-
If they reject my last batch I'm out. They already rejected a lot of my work before so they're far from my favorite agency and the recent commission drop didn't help either.
My last test is if they reject my current best sellers (on all other agencies) they lose.
Rejection goes both ways people!

they are what they are but 10 week slots is just ridiculous.. still 2/3 from payout after almost 3 years lol
-
crestock = total waste of time ...

Yeah, seems they are understaffed. Got almost 100 illustrations in the queue Pending. They rejected a ton in the last batch. Unprecedented. Haven't made much there at all. Lot's of small subscription sales.
-
ah. I can't even remember when I uploaded my first batch, but they are still sitting there in Pending Purgatory.
-
I think Crestock have seen the last of me since I originally posted this I have had 10 images reviewed. I now have 50 still in the queue the oldest being there for 5 weeks. Its a complete waste of time.

Even Veer is being faster than Crestock... and the worst part of be waiting months is rejection rate. If the idea is reject almost everything, why so long to do it?
-
They promised to do reviews faster once the 'Maple Leafs' win the Stanley Cup... ;D

I'm very close to leaving this agency, let's see how the review turns out (after months of waiting)
They have been bugging me from the start with their long review times and weird rejections.

Exactly if after waiting a ridiculous time images were sensibly rejected then its not too bad but when you get stupid rejections its not worth it. Think I will stop uploading there for a while its less hassle.

I gave up on them while only in the business for six months! Weird company and LOW PAY...

This is what i recieve after i complain to them... this reply dated on 14June
I can confirm that your 7 images submitted on 5/14/2012 are in the queue
with no errors. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a
backlog in the review queue. It's difficult to estimate an exact time for
when images will be reviewed as a result, however review times are
currently averaging seven weeks. Your patience is appreciated. Note: you
will receive an automated "Evaluation Complete" email with instructions on
how to check the image status once uploads have been reviewed.
Thanks & regards,

Wouldn't bother with them. Never seen such consistently low (and infrequent) sales and amazingly unrealistic reviewing. I gave up on them ages ago too.
-
@seiksoon - that's the same response I got when I inquired about images that had been waiting about 5 weeks only the wait was running about 8 weeks at that point. About half the images in the que (which had been uploaded over about 5 weeks) were reviewed a few weeks later and the rest a few weeks after that.
Seems like the reviewers have been instructed to reject at least one or two from every series in a theme or concept. If I submit 4, one is rejected, if I submit 7, two are rejected, all with the "stronger images accepted" comment although they are generally series that are getting complete acceptance from other agencies, even those with a reputation for rejecting similars.
Being new at this my game plan was to give any agency I upload to a certain amount of time to prove their worth while I build up my portfolio but they are definately the most discouraging in terms of rejections and sales.
-
nothing to see there
-
Don't waste your time with them, not worth it!
-
Not one of my top 50 selling photos appears on their site! ALL were rejected. Yet they took in all the marginal stuff. What's with that? Last batch took over 6 months. I didn't even check to see what they took. Sad. They were once a top-notch group.
-
>:(why bother with them they are just cluttering up an alrady crowded marketplace!
-
Like others have said, do not bother. I quit them a while ago because they are not worth my time due to absurd rejections and very, VERY long review time.
Sites with attitude ;)
