This is my advice. They reject all your files at once, even the ones who are accepted everywhere else and they ignore requests to close account. I have asked twice to be removed and nothing happens, not even a reply or anything. My advice: avoid them!

Yeap! Stay away from them..

I think this should be a sticky thread on top of MSG board and I would even place "Avoid Crestock" banner under MSG logo  ;D

well, i did ask Crestock to close my account, they deleted all my images as requested when i told them to keep my earnings. they emailed me to confirm and that was it, all done.

so maybe it was your tone of voice in your email. i just said in a nice way to keep your money and shove it up you know where, but in a nice way  ;)

This is a pretty major reason not to upload there if you can't use Paypal:

After over two months of requesting my Crestock account close (in a nice way at first and in not so nice tone at the end) and being ignored, I decided to take one evening and email them with a nasty request every two minutes, from 7pm to 2am, on the following morning my account was close...so newbies STAY AWAY FROM MORONSTOCK, you'll be doing yourself a favor.

but why the diff, pixart?  if you gave the contributors the choices of being paid at the point of terms of agreement, you should live up to the agreement.
i am sure if the shoe was on the other foot, ie. the contributor not living up to the agreement, the consequence would have been immediate deletion of your account, or whatever.

it should work both way bona fide. like any good business practice.

You are one of the reasons fotolia changes the terms of use twice a week!  :D

Even if they would pay everything on time, crestock is still not a good place with the worst subscription commissions in the industry.. 0.25 cents!!! and you don't even have any possibility to go up to 0.38 like at shutterstock..

If you support 0.25 then you don't deserve 0.38..

But , I do!

not sure if you are talking to me or pixart. if me, i think you misunderstood what i wrote.
i was saying if a site says they are going to pay with paypal, bank, etc... they should live up to the agreement.
i don't know how this has to do with fotolia changing every two weeks, we're talking about crestock.

It's not my place to say don't upload to any site.  I wanted to point out that "Moneybookers Artists'" are having great struggles getting paid.  If you are in a Paypal country, take the risks because it looks like "Paypal Artists" are getting paid.  But, if you can't trust a site to pay their bills, can you trust them to even record your earnings properly?  Myself, I wouldn't personally upload to a new site that withholds earnings from artists for such lame excuses.  Of course, the posters in the Moneybookers thread may be lying, but I doubt it.   But still, I would be a big hypocrite if one of the top 3 agencies pulled the same trick, I think would be too attached to my payouts there to take a stand.

Sorry, you are right  :) I didn't pay enough attention.. This has to do with any website who does not care about contributors imo!.
