Today we're giving you 100 Depositphotos image downloads of any size for only $39 ...this is regularly worth $500+!

Especially love this part:
60-day money back guarantee! No matter the reason.

So, how much are the artists paid?

"Currently, we are changing our monthly subscription royalties, so you will be receiving 44% out of each monthly subscription download."

Anyone believe them? That was a month ago. Instead of the promise, which I suspect is just to delay the contributor exodus, we get...

i told you already the only option is to set D day for DP  and you do not want to. we have to close our accounts on DP. customers will go to ss and others. even in short term we will not loose money.

there is also too much subscription sales, i dont believe them 1%.

Of course I believe them 100%. They will find a way to work the promise so that we get 17c a download from offers like this ($39/100*44%) rather than the regular sub compensation.

This offer is also redeemable any time in future, it's not like a subscription which expires. No one should be uploading to DP, if we accept the way they work we will accept anything.

Not sure how much DP pays us in this case, but in general it seems to be one more customer acquisition channel for them.

I often find same deals from other companies. The last one I remember was from BigStock/Shutterstock offering 100 image downloads for FREE https://stacksocial.com/sales/improve-your-designs-with-100-hi-res-images-free-for-10-days

I have just made the decision to stop uploading there after my last two larger than subs sales were both refunded. I do not believe in giving refunds from the contributor's cut anyway as I have very little confidence in any agency's willingness or ability to chase up unlicensed image users.

I only uploaded a small part of my portfolio and there are so few sales, it isn't worth deleting them.  I gave up on contributors doing anything to stop sites doing what they want when I removed most of my images from istock but others were uploading all they could.  If some of us make a stand while others carry on uploading, it isn't going to make much difference.

I finally reached payout this week & immediately canceled my account -- these bottom feeders just aren't worth the hassle
