Anyone leave before reaching the next payout?

Do they pay or do you forfeit any commissions?

Forfeit your comission.

Why are you leaving? I was planning to do the same. Had a few sales here and there, but it didn't turn out to be the performing folks suggested it was.

I left a small amount on the table when I left.

I'm also leaving over the EL's.  $12 to payout though, so at 30 cents a pop it will take at least a month likely 3.

I guess I'm in the minority here but DP has been good to me and grows in earnings the more I contribute. No one ever includes their specialty when complaining about an agency's lackluster performance making it difficult to understand why you're doing poorly and I'm finding success. My portfolio is a potpourri of subject matter - from landscape to industry and everything inbetween. What I like most about DP is that they sell images that stagnate untouched by others. About 5% of my portfolio sells daily with SS while the rest rarely sell. SS is my best earner but that would change if I didn't have that 5%  buyers gravitate to. DP meanwhile sells daily and always something different that hasn't sold before. I have about 2000 images with DP. About 500 with SS.

I am leaving, too. RPD is abysmal here and the whole site just has an icky, cheapo feel to it that I don't like my images being associated with. Also, their SEO is way too good -- too often they are among the first results on google when searching for my images, and I don't want that.

I sell a mix of mostly 3D renders. They do very well on Shutterstock, iStock, and they do okay on Dreamstime...but on DepositPhotos they only sold initially and not have been dormant. I stopped adding content there as it seemed to be a waste of resources.

I am happy with the results and service from deposit. They accept all my files, I don't need to downsize anything the way I do for SS or Fotolia, they pay me 44% and the income is growing steadily. Very hassle free and easy to work with.

I have stopped submitting because their editor has been broken for 6 months, and they dont seem to want to fix it. All keywords phrases are split up in single keywords.

Its working for me, my 3rd seller after IS and SS, but I sell mostly illustrations and some photographs.

I guess a specific type of portfolio does better there. Actually I think most of my sales there were vector, which I don't do too much of.

Doing well with them too. Almost every month an increase.

Nothing specific, just boredom. Someone with appropriate, more current Microstock materials would do better. A big collection would bring something representative of an average top ten agency.

I guess I'll be patient and wait until payout. It's not hurting me any. Most of the DLs on DP are things that don't get any interest on SS or IS, are not accepted there.

RPD 47 cents

Very strange for me, except two sales I do not even have any views of my files since October!
