Anyone else?

I never signed up for them, not opened an account, but I keep getting emails from them telling me I have new friends. I have unsubscribed numerous times, emailed them to close my account, which I never created. But nothing, no replies. Reported them to spam.org. Just emailed them again. They are driving me cookoo. Why does anyone want to do business like that. And how can I get rid of them? It almost feels like bullying what they are doing.

Seriously. Clashit.

Does your email provider allow you to block emails by domain? if so that would be your best bet.

That's funny because my email provider does and my allocation is filled up... ;D ;D ;D I think I have 500 slots.

same here, I really need to check this out, I see they are somehow a DP partner, selling full resolution for 99 cents, hmmm

Special terms for Depositphotos contributors: upload your editorial photographs taken with your mobile device to Clashot and get $0.10 for each approved photo. You do not need to register a new account at Clashot: please use your Depositphotos credentials to sign in at the website or in the mobile app.

Ron, I think you will find that it is linked to your Depositphoto account. As far as I can figure, any Editorial images on DP are automatically transferred to their Clashot site.

The incompetence is off the chart. I logged a ticket with clashot, I get an email from depositphoto asking if I am sure about closing the account. I tell them yes, and they delete my deposit account, porfolio gone, money gone. Not a peep in my email about deposit photos, only clashot. I cannot freaken believe it.

I like it as another way to distribute pictures but unsure of its future and sales.
I only could find about 15 of the over 100 editorial photos accepted of mine a long time ago by DepositPhotos on ClashShot. Maybe they are testing the site their selves?

Well thank you. I wondered why I got an email from Clashot about someone making me a friend. I wrote and asked, how did I get an account? (no answer of course) And I wondered how I was supposed to login with no account?

OK so I'll go see who my new friend is and if I have any photos there. But I really don't have a smart phone and I don't recall sending anything editorial to DP.  :)  I wonder what I'm "selling" on Clashot?

Hmm, 18 notifications, four photos and I didn't even know I had an account. Cool, maybe I should get a smartphone and start uploading CrapStock originals?

Depositphoto launched Clashot some time ago.  Here's a link.

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/depositphotos-launches-clashot---photo-mobile-application-and-social-platform-for-publishing-and-selling-images-228794811.html

ps way to edit account is login to http://www.Clashot.com, using DP account and pw, click Notifications, turn off email notifications... But I guess it's too late for that for the OP. Maybe it will help someone else before they get shot down.

Just dragged a preview of one my images to my desktop.  It's 1200 pixels.  The Clashot watermark is very tiny down in the right corner.  Even worse than FAA.  Getting lots of views too.  Does anyone know if an opt out is possible?  I don't see a opt out button at deposit.

DepositPhotos removed my editorial shots from Clashot in February... yet people keep adding as a "friend".  Could it be that they are still available internationally?  Seems suspicious....  Anyone else experiencing this?

I never did any change, or ask, and all photos disapper from clashshot. I don't see friends. DP is not past pulling tricks.

Hmmm... see dear Ron
I am not the only person who shouts on them. clashot or better to say clashit is a part of depositphotos. Depositphotos never ever delete an account they only block it and blocking account doesn't earse your information and files, they got your email address just like mine and they want to lure you to their website.
maybe you liked them on facebook, google, youtube, blog, etc.

More then a year ago Ihad all my images from Depositphotos removed from there. Still now and then I get messages that someone added me as a friend. But when I go check I can't even find myself on that website.
