DepositPhotos just sent a press release announcing they are still eagerly looking for more content.

They still have their Promotion Program - where they pay you $0.10 to upload (up to 500 photos), as well as giving the opportunity for big contributers (1000 images or so) to do a bulk upload to the site and have the agency take care of submitting and attaching releases etc.

If you want to get paid for uploading, just follow that link, if you want to do the bulk upload deal shoot me an private message and I'll get you in contact with the guys making the deal.

...
and yes those are referral links.. if you don't want me to have the referral you'll have to type the address in your browser.

I thought that was just for the big ports...they are doing it for everyone..I mean the .10 deal?

I already have a port on there.

Just to be clear, the .10/"every image uploaded" only applies to the first 500.  So the max you could expect to get paid is $50.  Not all that much of an enticement.

Indeed. How are the sales there? And what's the min payout, I wonder if you can get to it by just uploading 500 shots (I highly doubt it;)?

Minimum payout is $50.00. I have one sometimes two sales a week, but they are usually only sub .30 so it takes a lot for them to add up.
Plus I don't have but 400+ in my port.

What's the UL process like? It's a shame I don't have 1k+ photos, but I do have just over 500. Just to be clear is it 10c per UL or per accepted image?

I already have a port on there.

If you click on the Promotion tab (along the top - same area that has the tabs for viewing your port, uploading files, etc.) you'll find more info.  It's got an "activate" button if you're eligible.

I do enjoy their small growing but I hate picking a category per picture, I dont mind other agencies, only there I got bored, maybe because of all 30 cents :/

as yes, quite right Lisa.  I didn't read all the fine print close enough.

@donding - I think there are two 'programs'.  One that pays you for uploading (if they like your photos enough) .. and only for the first 500 photos.  The second program is if you have a large port, they will do a bulk upload for you and get your images online.  For the bulk upload I know that it doesn't matter if you are already a member and maybe only have a fraction of your port online... that is what I did.

I did the bulk upload thing.  To me, the incentive is that the sales have been pretty great, often topping BigStock and 123RF.  Yesterday was my best day there, with about $36 in commissions.  If you're not submitting there, you're missing out.

They are slowly picking up steam...it's taken them awhile. I just wish the majority of sales weren't the subs. I haven't uploaded anything for a long time...that really goes for all the agencies...kinda lost incentive with all the crap going on, but I think if you had a really good sized port with good selling images it would be worth it.

Me, either.  From the site:  "Only selected photographers and illustrators will be able to participate in this Promotional Program."   :P

That's what I was thinking...it's for those who have the huge portfolio's. They might do it if you didn't already have an account.

OK if they're only interested in quantity, they're gonna stay small and insignificant ;) . Very shortsighted (we can all feel SS's actions now) and as we all know big library is not guarantee for success.

impressive.  My biggest day there is still only $11.00.
Totally decent but still below Bigstock and 123RF

I believe they are looking for the big names with successful ports.

"Currently, we are actively seeking partnerships with top photographers and illustrators. If you consistently produce great pictures or illustrations, then we would love to see your work on our site! That is why we are making a very special promotional program available to the most talented photographers and illustrators."
