So a person with 10,000 inferior photos gets more respect and favouritism than someone with 2,000 excellent images?

Doesn't matter too much to me, DP can review and rank any way they want. I just wouldn't agree that portfolio size alone makes someone more of a seasoned pro than someone with less images, which are much better quality. I think something is wrong when the debate lowers itself to "size matters" more than quality. 

Yes of course, if someone only has ten photos and four sales in a year, I don't include that as part of the comparison.

Someone with just a few photos, no matter how good, may be picking the accidentally good images out of their thousands of unsellable vacation and family photos.  Just a punter who thinks they can make a few bucks off of the pictures they have taken anyway, without having to put much effort into it.

None of what you are saying has any bearing on the subject.  The point is that Hotwalkn was making a statement about the best agency based on only 4 sales which could be very misleading to anybody reading it.
