I am really disappointed with Depositphotos. I started more than one year ago to uploading. Now I have almost 1800 files (photos and vectors) but really poor results in terms od revenue. In 2016 I got three only payments :-(
I know DP it is not SS but I hope at least to get a payment each month.
I don't know if I have to continue to spend time on this agency or to give chance to other minor agencies....(envato, bigstock, canstock)
Your advises are welcome.
Thank you

Seriously if you still upload to istock, depositphotos or bigstock (add in vectorstock for vector artists) then I think you really haven't studied these companies' terms, histories or comission structures. You need to think about how you are running your business and if still want this industry to exist in a couple of years time.

I only uploaded a small part of my portfolio to DP and don't feel motivated to upload any more. Probably best to ditch them if you aren't getting a payout regularly. Alamy for stills and Pond5 for video are the sites I'm concentrating on this year.

Please tell me your opinion about the agencies I should invest in (for photos/vector/video) :-)))

Shutterstock, Pond5, Fotolia/Adobe Stock, 123RF, Dreamstime, Canstockphoto, Alamy, Graphicleftovers, StockFresh plus any macro/ midstock/ niche better paying sites that you fit with or fit your workflow.
I have included a couple of very low earners there (GL and SF), but they have decent RPDs/ commission shares and I consider them trustworthy, so there's no harm in uploading.
Keep well away from BS (very low RPD and a potentially testing ground for SS to see how low we will put up with), IS (very low RPD for independents and getting worse all the time plus constantly thinking of new underhand ways to screw contributors. Again, if we continue to upload there other sites will follow suit!!), DP (very low RPD, very dubious in general), Vectorstock (very low prices and also dubious)
For details of what I mean by "dubious" you will have to do a search on this forum.

Except forget GL/Graphic Leftovers I haven't seen a sale since April 2016 with over 1500 images. It ground to a halt after they were sold

well my stock earning despite all has grown steadily in the last month...i car how much i earn end of month and if they make me earning more i don't care if they sell 1 2 5 cent...microstock is about earning and of months...if i were objective i wouldn't upload to any site who give me less than 1 dollar per sale.
pond5 123rf and can stock cannot even compare in three all year to one single week of stock for example and i have similar portfolio, well in stock even less files.

You are completely and utterly wrong in your approach. This market is saturated. Promises of making things up in volume are nonsense and you are playing into the arms of agencies that fleece us for every penny they can.
Now when we get more sales on one site we are losing them from other sites. It is a trend that is unmistakable if you sell a large volume of licenses. I manage 15000 sales+ a lot of months and believe me that is how it works.
The difference between getting 25c per download and 38c per download is $250 per month versus $380 per month or $25000/month and $38000/month. When you start getting 2c per download from IStock your $380 from SS is suddenly $20.
Until we all wake up and realise this we deserve everything we get, and you will never make a long term success of this business until you realise this is the case.
