Hi,
just getting a bit discouraged, I have about 160 files on DP and started to upload 2 months ago. Still 0 sales and the most viewed file has about 20 views... Is that a normal situation? Not asking much, just a sign of life! ;D

My experience on DP last month worked out to about 0.064 sales per image. If yours were downloaded at the same rate I'd expect about 10 sales in a month with 160 images. I'm sure most people probably do much better than me. Maybe it's just taking a while for yours to be found or possibly they are less commercially viable. I'd just keep submitting and trying different things until you find some that sell. Good luck!

I've been there since February 2010 and it took me unil the end of April that year to get my first sale. Sales were really slooooow since they were just starting out. I had 100 images uploaded (didn't have that many in my port at the time can't do the math on that). Sales didn't really start to take off there as in a sale or 2 every day or every other day or so until last year. This past February was my best month this year.
It's not burning up the charts for me in terms of how often I make payout but right now the downloads are sort of steady. Check your keywords and categories and make sure you haven't left anything important out of them.

i have about 120 images on DP and i started 4th Feb 2012. First sale 2nd March.
Then,
7 sales March
7 sales April
May nothing.
Good and fast agency.

120 images at any agency, is like a piss in the pacific ocean. Get on uploading three times that amount and you can expect some growth. :)

Very low earner for me but most of my work is there so they are still on my upload list.
Expect the quickest sales on SS, no doubt, but people have a hard time getting in these days.
DP is not the agency to start with if you want to make fast money in stock, TOP TIERS are, followed by 123RF.

DP just popped my cherry. I'm new to stock photography, although I've been photographing for over 10 years now. I just got my first 20 files approved on friday and made first sell on saturday @ DP. Nice!

DP are doing better for me these past few month with my tiny port of just 160. I'm concentrating on other sites and then upload here in my free time. XL sales at subscription of .31 is not so motivating, but the upload and speed of acceptance is good.

I've been on DP for about a week and have had 19 sales. I'd say stick with it; they seem like a good agency.

Yes you'll get lots of regular sales but mostly subs it seems....but they've done well in a short space of time. An agency of the the future I would think...

I think I was lucky. When I first stepped in, I uploaded around 50 files and got a couple of downloads the very next day. But you never know what happens at first. Usually it takes time for a portfolio to gain recognition. Just be patient and you'll see some downloads soon. And of course, the famous returned sales too :) The worst thing about depositphotos...

I am new with DP and I got to say real nice things about this agency. It is the best experience. Their explanation for rejecting pics are straight forwards. My images were accepted well. And I am going to be with DP until I am in stocks.

I am not exclusively with DP. May be people can survive being exclusive. I have signed up with 5 agencies and my experience with DP is the better than many others. I have no medicine for forever happy kind things. These are like impulses which make you happy sometimes and if you like it, keep going until you hit the tough road. With DP, I think it is easier to be accepted. Sale may be a different number than what I feel.
