Seems DP are now partnering with Graphicstock!
May as well just give everything for free! Please tell people in the Partner scheme that they are doing this. I think I only know this because I am opted out (and left just a few images there to keep the option for the future open), and they wrote asking permission to include me.
Graphicstock, for those who don't know, is where people pay a fee (theory 100$, but often on offer) to download as much content as they want FOR A YEAR FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I have no idea what DP intends to pass on to photogs. But it can't be much more than giving away you whole stock library for nothing. Especially if you are on other sites.
Obviously, I am NOT joining.
PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG but I don't think I am.

The way they work is that they buy the rights for a one-time fee to sell on the subscription part of the site.

Then there's the marketplace, which has higher prices and you get all the royalties.

Hard to say how the DP deal will work, but most likely they will put those images in the marketplace.

By the way, I can't find where you opt in or out for things like this, where is that?

Here's what I got:
We would like to thank you for the cooperation and want to make it more profitable for you.

Your portfolio was disconnected from affiliate sales at Depositphotos earlier. Over the past few years we have improved the policy of partnerships. As you may know, affiliate sales are one of the additional tools that help to increase the income of authors.
The platform graphicstock.com is interested in placing your work on partner terms.

Please let us know whether you are ready to include the possibility of reselling your work through our affiliate partners.

I am also opted out of the desositphotos partner programs.  Thought I'd check and make sure nothing changed.   I don't see the button anymore... did they remove it?

I don't worry about GraphicStock, if the marketplace is the same as the Videoblocks marketplace (i.e. 100% royalties on a pay per download basis).

But I don't want DP to sell there on my behalf, I'd rather sell directly.
Is there a way to opt out? Where can I find the opt-out button?

Same, I wrote them back asking for further info about licenses and possible income. After reading the "info" on the site, I have 0 trust in this.

Imho this is definitely a trap for the naive. They say customers can have images forever for a very low cost, and also that they give 100% for the contributor, which is impossible - meaning someone is getting screwed... guess who. Even if they really are operating at a loss now, the thing they might do is just wait until enough quality stock accumulates on the 'marketplace', then you get an email that 'for certain business considerations' they have to move everything to the subscription part, and the possibility for all of this to happen was in the contract, why didn't you read it word-by-word accompanied by lawyers.

I got the email as well, and really don't intend to give DP any further means to abuse my content.  They HAVE and WILL continue to abuse the supplier if you open up those affiliate floodgates.

I don't think they ever had a button.  I searched in my old emails and I had contacted support to opt out.

I think it was about 3 years ago, so for those who don't know, DP had a partner deal with a site called Shotshop that was selling our images for $30 and contributors would only receive 30 cents for each sale.

Luckily I only uploaded to DP three times and immediately dump them.
Not only they sell nothing, pay extremely low commissions, but also are a huge pain in the backside: they consider practically everything editorial and they ask you to resubmit the files with a different wording for editorial!!!
As if we had nothing better to do.
I am glad that the decision to get rid of them immediately was so easy
