New member, one post, praising dodgy agency. Hmmmmm
[/quote]

Well I am genuine, I've only just found this site and forum but I agree reading it back it does look a bit gushing! I've now looked around more and found those posts questioning Deposit which made my flesh crawl a bit - I've just had my 500th image accepted so now I'm not sure if I've made a big mistake. One thing I will say is that my rejections went from almost none from my first batch up to about 35% today - all a bit odd...

123RF long gone, and now a letter is sent to DepositPhotos to have my user account and images deleted. Feels good to take a stand, though it is easy with a small portfolio, of course.

I'm realatively new, but after this reading this I guess I'll stay clear of Deposit Photos.

Hmmm, DP still standing strong in the mid-tiers.. that means lots of people are reporting making decent money there.. maybe it is time to start uploading :)

I stopped uploading long time ago and I am considering closing my account.
Mostly 0.30 subs, credit sales are extremely rare.
Revenue per download is ridiculously low.

I have had some decent luck with DP as an illustrator. I have had a small number of files uploaded for just over a month with almost 50 sales, including a handful of credit sales that have been worth near $4 each.

They have accepted everything that SS has accepted plus a few more...  And I am lucky to get one sub sale a month there while I make payout on SS every month.  The site doesn't sell, or has a different clientele than what I do.

dare i stick my neck out on this one??? They accept types of images that other sites don't, so I've got an outlet for images that otherwise might go unseen (unsold) and the last 3 months there have been good. If sales hold steady at current rate, I'll be on clip to hit payout every 60 - 90 days (not great but it is a new(er) site). Obviously everyone's mileage varies but there's my 2 cents.

Yes, it is worth uploading there. I have a very small portfolio there and only been on their site for a few months so having 30 sales already isn't bad in my eyes...
