I just got a few photos rejected at DepositPhotos for "Lightning". The poor English is really starting to turn me off and I bet buyers are turned off, too.

I think a more relevant question is:
Is anyone submitting to Depositphotos?

Are they paying your 0.20 per upload?

English skills are now longer a skill it seems. The work I do full time is continually frustrated because of ICT being outsourced to India and others where the programmers write code and put in poor spelling. Then the systems will only function if you have a good handle on "Engrish".

I have already received my payout (back on 11/18) for the initial .20 per upload. They were very quick about it.

I have a final batch in que which will give me a 500+ portfolio (barring no "lightning" rejections) and then I'll promptly request a payout.

Very close to payout. Testing out different home workflow schedule. Waiting till "Upload  Day"..lol. I should be able to do a request then.

Not I. I'm running about 10% rejection for LCV.

Still a little off for a payout, uploading cautiously and observing.

More interested in seeing if they are drawing buyers to site.

It's very ironic that the original poster spelled the word wrong in the topic.

I've got 520 files online with them now and just requested a payout.  I didnt see a specific place to request a payout so I used the "Contact Us" form and used "Financial Questions" for a category.

Ok so just after my previous post I placed a proper payout request.  About an hour ago I got a payout email from Deposit Photos for 100.00 and this was confirmed by a paypal notification of funds received.  I think that's about the fastest time I've ever gotten a payout from anybody.

Are they worth uploading to and is it hard to become an approved contributor?  And from reading the posts it sounds like you're getting paid per upload if I read that wrong, forgive.  I looked over there and didn't see any info on it.  I'm looking to expand my reach.  I'm down to 5 stock sites and this one sounds interesting.

Thanks,

Anita

I would suggest you go to their website and do a search for your type of images before you even consider it. Most of the photos I saw in general had no or very little downloads on them. I had never heard of them untill this post.

I did, and you won't like the story. Perhaps that thread vanished here on MSG, but may Google be your friend.  ;D
