I used to get a notification email every time a download happened at DP. The relevant option is still activated in my profile, however I haven't got any emails for the past week although I had downloads in that time. The inevitable question: Is it just me?

I am also having the same problem. :-[ We have to be careful  there's definitely something wrong with Depositphotos  Nowadays, I am seeing lots of complaint and I am sick of their subscription I am thinking to stop selling files at Depositphotos.com

I wrote "live" chat last night about that problem and was told to check my spam settings.  I did and nothing there.  Problems, problems problems we as microstock photographers have to deal with with so little income rewards.  What is this world coming to?

Nope it's just you and me and Kolopach and disorderly and oscarcwilliams... the site is functioning perfectly.  ;) Just ask them.  (in other words, I stopped getting notifications last week)

I thought I had stopped getting sales there but I just logged in and have done quite well the past week, including some decent credit sales, not just all subs like usual.  Almost makes me want to start uploading there again, except for that credit sales for subs payout deal.  If they change that to something reasonable I might think about it.  Or not.

I have stopped to receive their notification emails too, one week or 10 days ago.

Same here. For about a week. Thanks for pointing that out, Ploink. Some nice credit sales BTW.

I just got my first notification email after ten days. They obviously changed the language depending on the country of residence in your profile as mine are in German now...

@Cesar: So far I only had subscription sales (for the correct amount), I will look extra careful at my next credit sale...

I've also received a discrepancy between the amount quoted for a sale in my notification email (my profit $1) and the amount showing in my seller stats online (net earned 44 cents).

Suspicious..?

But you need to get a sale to get a notification?  ::) Deposit and Bigstock neck and neck, that's kind of telling.

Just realized I hadn't seen any emails this month and found this thread. Love the 'check your spam folder' response. What's next? Clear your cache and cookies?

Haven't received a notification since the 30th, but the last ones I did get don't match what it shows on the site.

So, after clearly stating that many others were reporting the same problem beginning at the same time, I got the same canned answer as above, "Verify all the folders on your e-mail, please. The e-mail from us could have been saved into another folder, in spam, for example.
Regards, Tory."

Deposit support is useless

I just 2 notifications from them.
One for a Sub sale with the correct amount.
One for a Credit sale - where the email says 'Your Profit $4.00" - when it should have been $1.84 (which is what the site stats say)

Edit: these are the first notifications in a few days, I got some on the 29th & 30th of Sept and all that were for credit sales had the sale price not the commission. They obviously have some sort of problem with the system since they changed format of the emails.

I only seem to get subs there but for the rest of you it seems like they are reporting the sale price as opposed to your commission.

Oddly, about a week or so ago I was getting acceptance emails for pictures accepted back in June and July.

Also, I requested payout a couple days ago the email they sent me confirming the payout was partly in English and partly in what appears to be Russian.

They are obviously having problems with their emails.  They should inform their support staff so they can actually give helpful responses.

Yes, I got an acceptance email for some images that had been sent maybe 6 weeks previously - and which had already been accepted and were online. Something is out of kilter over at DP.

That reminded me. I got about 20 acceptance emails over a couple of days that went back over a long period of time.

But I guess I should check my spam folder - that'll fix it.

I guess they never really upped the % to 44.  Was that all back talk?

Just got my first sale notification since 9/30. The email included, "If you encounter any problems while using the website or looking for particular files, feel free to contact us anytime."

You can contact them. They won't help you, but you can contact them.
