I just say this on the front page...before sign in....
"Download Royalty-Free stock photos, illustrations & images
for as low as $398.12 / image or free"
maybe this is not the way to attract buyers?
-
Download Royalty-Free stock photos, illustrations & images
for as low as £0.14 / image or free
-
So it changes depending on location? I am in South America so I get charged (much) more? ;D
-
Sounds like an interesting error. BTW here's what I get.
"Download Royalty-Free stock photos, illustrations & images
for as low as $0.20 / image or free "

Mine is probably the same:
Download Royalty-Free stock photos, illustrations & images
for as low as £0.14 / image or free
I think that's a lot less of a hike than iS charges; the exchange is currently showing as 20c = 13p
That's an awkward typo the OP found. ;D

I see this from Slovakia:
Download Royalty-Free stock photos, illustrations & images
for as low as 0.16 € / image or free
Probably they switch it based on location and currency used there.

Where in South America? What's the local currency?

I am in Ecuador... the local currency is US$

Ok, that does not explain it. I thought they may convert into local currency and only (wrongly) display a $-sign...

Even if you did sell an image for $398.12, you'd still get only $0.20 commission.
What pees me off is not the "from £0.14 per image" schtick on the homepage per se (well, it does but I knew what I was getting into with micro), it's the "from £0.14" for every {expletive deleted} image size.
-
Just check to see if this is fixed.... and no it still shows the same....
I would like to find out why
-
You need to point it out to them and they'll undoubtedly correct it. Obviously, it's a mistake. But be proud that Ecuador gets special treatment - Arabia just gets the standard US dollar rate with no conversion into a local currency, real or imagined.
-
I have sent them an email... I guess they don't monitor this forum... ;D
-
I sent an email and got a nice, we will look into that response.
checked the site tonight:
Download Royalty-Free stock photos, illustrations & images
for as low as $407.51COP / image or free
Price is going up.... I wonder what COP means
-
Colombian peso, a currency, ISO 4217 code COP
-
That makes a bit of cents.... ::) except the local currency is US$... and I am much closer to Peru than Columbia. ;D
