I've had only one sale reported there in the last week. I know it is Xmas and things are slow, but even with that in mind this is unprecedented.

I notice that there seem to have been a heap of bugs there in the last week or two (there's a thread in their forum) so I'm wondering if there are sales going unreported because of technical problems.

Anyone getting sales reported steadily over the last seven or eight days?

Fairly steady here.  Not brilliant but as many as can be expected at this time of year.

Ok, thanks. I must just be having a bad patch then. The sales pattern there has always been a bit weird.

Yes, I must be in a 'good' spell at the moment which is a bit unfortunate that it falls during the holidays.

a little slow for me as well but my portfolio is small compared to you guys thus not a good indicator of anything going on there.

No sales there yesterday for me - and it's been a slow week. But when I made a sale on Christmas Day but not the Friday after, it did surprise me a bit.

Perhaps it's our turn to do the subscription rotation and all the subscription buyers are on holiday? I had one patch in the last week where 18 of the 20 last sales were credit and this lurch from one type of sale to the other always struck me as unlike any of the other agencies.

A few sales every day, so they are reporting.  Way down, of course, but about what is expected at this time of year.

One subscription sale today.  Size 'maximum', of course.

My thought for the day: there is no longer any point to this.

my sales are very small but this month at DT is really poor, looking at the last week I had a sale in the 21th and then only at 28th

in December so far I had no sales on the following days:
5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29

(not usual)

Same here. DT is definitely not my top earner. But I had last download on 24th - and this is so unusual that I thought it was some kind of bug in sales reporting. Unfortunately it's not the case.

I haven't had a sale there since th 19th.  So it's been 10 days and of course I'm close to payout too so it figures :/

Lucky me! I just got a subscription sale - rather appropriately it was of a duck.

There's something odd happening. On a good day at DT I would clear $20+, getting $2.45 in a week is ridiculous even if it is Christmas.

No sales since 12/20.  Very unusual for me.  I have plenty of zero days but never anything like this.  Also have 50 plus images in the queue since the 23rd.  It's like they took off for the holiday.............

For me, It is very different story. I started with DT recently. I submitted 21 images and all of them are pending approval since many days.  I am thinking of switching to FT. I do not know whether wait is worth.

Waiting a couple of weeks for approval isn't really a reason for not uploading to a site.   Some sites approve images in a matter of hours but sell  virtually nothing.  I'd much rather wait a week or two and have my images at a site that sells. Also you don't need to switch to FT, you can upload to both.

You need to learn patience, especially at this time of year.  Everything tends to slow down from mid-December until early January, and microstock is no exception.  Besides, this is a long game; I give new agencies months to show what they can do, not days.

Thanks for advice and it is certainly useful to me. I am using DT and FT both for now.

No DT sales showing up for me yet today.  Anyone else seeing sales today?  Just a reporting lag?

Very odd, since I averaged $10-$15 dollars most days during the holiday break, and now on Jan 2, when many people are returning to work, everything comes to a halt at DT (most other sites are getting back to normal today.)

Sales are reporting at DT today, but still VERY slow.  FWIW, nobody I know is returning to work today.  I think the rest of the week will be slow and next week is when things will pick up significantly.

Regarding returning to work - in the UK, my family and nieces and nephews don't return to work/school until Monday even though my kids went back to school today.

The sales that are coming through for me are a very high percentage of sub sales.  Only 3 credit sales in the last 20 when normally it is about 50/50

I've been on the opposite side of things to you fotografer, 17 out of 20 of my last sales have been credit sales, thankfully some nice big ones too.

Without them December sales would have been a disaster for DT, as sales volume was HALF of last December for me at DT. The large credit sales managed to make earnings about the same though.
