Author Topic: Can't edit my uploads (Read 3959 times)

When I try to edit I got this message:

"Error: Due to the massive uploads, you can only make 7000 submissions per week. Please continue the upload process after 7 days have passed since your first submission."

But my uploads are only 175 in total!!! I'm new on this site.

Could anyone help me?

I think it’s just a temporary throttle. I was getting 504 Bad gateway error messages this afternoon EET then, when that resolved, it was the message you saw. The 504 just means servers are overloaded (often because virtual space is not properly assigned) unless it’s a DDOS attack on behalf of the evil empire (surely not?!) so they throttle the edit traffic. No idea how they do their hosting but it’s a fairly easy problem to resolve if hardware is available in a data centre or in-cloud. If it’s as a result of folk doing the same as me, moving all their SS stuff across to DT, I’m happy to live with it for a couple of days.

I am not getting any error messages, but I still can't submit new images. The submit button is gone and I get the message about the daily limit of 1000 images instead.... even though I only submitted like 3 images today.

Working fine for me, Uploaded 6 images an hour ago and all approved and online now.

Had the same message, so I used FTP to up load. Was able to process and already accepted.

I'm not surprised as I stopped uploading in Dreamstime due uploading problems, especially importing problems on their servers (some files imported others not). I asked the support two times and they replied something like "it's all fine here, the problem is on your side" then I quit them.

Well, golly gumdrops, I haven't come anywhere close to 7,000 submissions this week. And just a few days ago they accepted a couple dozen that I processed in just a few hours.

DT must be seeing a MASSIVE SURGE in uploads right now.

just now i was able to submit my unfinished files

probably their system don't digests this impressive growth due Shetterstock stabbing behind the shoulders of the contributors

It's been like that for years, sometimes it just bugs and takes more time for images to process and appear as unfinished.

So we are all all over DT now?
