I recently decided to put some of my best sellers on Dreamstime. A lot of them were refused. I find it comical as they are all approved on the other top sites and selling well. I'm just not going to waste my time at Dreasmtime...it took ions for them to inspect and then their notes seems like they want me to over saturate and blowout my images. I guess my work just doesn't fit into what they are looking for.

put a few images up for us to look at. Yes, each site has it's own favor.  FT loves studio shots but good luck on getting an outdoor or travel image approved...

There's not much consistency over time at any of these agencies.  You might submit the same shots to SS and have them all rejected for "focus" - then submit them again a month later and see them all accepted.

I get the feeling that there's a lot of turnover among reviewers, maybe a lot of subcontracting,  and that every couple of weeks management sends out a memo titled "New Reviewing Guidelines".

I would, but I am anonymous here for a reason and posting my work will give me away. Call me paranoid :). Anyway, I get that they all have their ideal images...I'm just going to take it as my style just isn't for them. Just odd as out of all the agencies, I typically understand the rejections...the ones from Dreamstime seems odd as they are looking for more blown out and filtered images...at least that is what I get from their feedback. If they looks at the historgram on my images they are all carefully balanced. Anyway...no biggie, just wanted to vent a little frustration...especially since they have the longest queue I've experienced so far.

@dingles ... probably not best to think of the review as "they."  I don't know how many images were reviewed, but probably all were reviewed by the same person.

Another try wouldn't hurt.

Also, I find reviews at DT confusing but actually more consistent than SS.

Thanks, I did ask for them to be re-reviewed. We'll see how it goes. How accurate is their views? All are 0 after a month on the approved images. Makes me feel DT might not be worth while

DT can be a little inconsistent sometimes but overall pretty reasonable and have got much faster - my last 4 batches have all been accepted within 12 hours.  Sales volumes are lower than the other top4 sites but RPD is generally much better  and they (uniquely) reward actual image performance not just port size and make a fair bit more than FT or 123 with smaller sales volumes.

Really?!?  Mine are taking 9-10 days.  Do you suppose it is the difference in photos and illustration?

Could be I guess - hadn't thought of that.  It is only the last few weeks and I thought it was a general improvement as there seem to be new admins plucked from contributors & the upload limits have gone up a lot.
