Anyone else having trouble getting into DT?  I have been trying for over an hour and haven't even gotten their usual page with the guy getting electrocuted.

You aren't the only one.  Me too.

Something wrong with the dns. You can still get there via 67.15.210.66, but if your not logged in, it doesn't help

I tried this IP too, no luck logging in.  FTP connects though and I even uploaded a text file.

I can´t get to dreamstime at all... their site seems totally down

A friend emailed them and they replied saying they are having technical difficulties.  Maybe someone forgot to the pay the electricity bill?

If it freaks us photogs out... what about the designers who we actually do this for???   I do a wee bit of design (like the 1 or 2 times a year that their site is down) and I gave a client a proof last night with dreamstime thumbnails... Now I can't buy them and her show is this weekend!  Agh.  All my designer credits are at Dreamstime!

technical difficulties to say the least.

It's not the first time it happens, and if I remember correctly, there were days of small problems the last time it did.

Is it still down? Seen from Thailand it is, but it may vary with geographic location.

Nope.......still down....  I woke up this morning thinking it would be working.....but it's not.  I'm in Italy.....no go........

Just got back on 5pm here in Australia. it has been inaccessible all day. something may have been fixed.

I find it interesting that people aren't saying similar negative things about DT like they did when LO was down... i guess it is ok for DT to make mistakes but not other sites.

perhaps it has to do with

1. Dreamstime is established and gives good returns on your uploaded photos.
2. Dreamstime's photographers % is higher
3. There was nothing saying that dreamstime had gone bankrupt or permanently offline (like the message a few members got when LO was offline - they got a message that the domain had not been renewed... which put into question if the didn't WANT to renew it)

4. People were in a bad mood the day LO when down which in turn made them make nasty comments

but don't get me wrong.

i am hoping LO makes their mark.  I think they have a great start and can do well.

Are they down again?

They seemed to be up this morning, but I can't seem to access them now.

Maybe they need to take some Viagra in order to keep it up!
