Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse than last month- guess what? It has gotten worse this month! Was there a change recently to cause the low sales? Have the buyers decided not to use DT anymore? If so, where have these buyers gone to?

In that like moments I wonder if they want to buy files anymore. Look, they already get free images... Many, many free images available... Why I do think so? I read forums, I read clients... Welcome to the reality  :-\

Btw, last file I sold 9 days ago (and I used to have almost everyday sales, sometimes even few daily).

If that was the case I would be seeing less sales on the other site (i.e., Shutter, iStock, Canstock, Fotolia) which I am not- having great months on those other sites.  Something is going on with DT - maybe they cut back on their marketing? They are losing market share fast compared to the other companies...

Sales have been pretty normal. Maybe, a little down from last year, but not outside the realm of normal fluctuations.

Dreamstime has totally fallen off the cliff for me. It's almost as bad as Veer now.

I already have more DT sales in August than July (because July was horrible).

But SS on the other hand... just awful this month, so many days with 0 or 1 downloads.

DT sales is normal, the last 4 mounths are the same, low sales are only on 123rf. for me is DT 3x more then 123rf, 123rf is 100% not big four. someone  is cheating.

July on DT was wretched for me, but so far this month there have been a bunch of credit sales and right now I'm only $12 shy of last month's total earnings and it's only August 7th (no extended licenses involved)!

Today is back to all-subs but I wonder if it was someone using up credits before they expired that accounted for the mini boom in credit sales on Tuesday and Wednesday?

I was surprised to see I made some sales. I guess when you expect nothing, any small thing seems good.

called - lowering our expectations which for a top tier or even a middle tier company is not good for us...

I notice the same. But Veer sales actually went up lately.

I'm seeing some real drop off in sales at DT as well in some recent months.

Hope there's others that are doing better there ...

I don't know why but (better) sales on DT start always after the 15th of the month.

Is it casual, or due to their way to count sales?

Okay, seasoned pro's please jump on this one.

In my 4 years of tracking sales August has been my worse month each year.  :-[

My monthly total is running about the same as last month (which wasn't so great), but 19 out of the last 20 are subs right now - a new low.

I can only assume DT is dead because I have had the same balance for a long time. No more uploads to DT. :-\

I agree....horrible.  I thought I was doing bad last month when I made $180. I usually do $225-$250 a month, but for August I am at $135. That's a significant drop and signifiant in terms of something going on. That seems way more than a summer slump to me.

I seen exactly the same kind of drop and similar numbers.  Had first 0 download day since I started there over 5 years ago too.  Its not normal.

It's happening at SS right now for a lot of us too. Perhaps this is the end of microstock and we have |Google to thank.
