Title: Dreamstime stable now?
Post by: hospitalera on August 18, 2007, 09:40
As I have to re-upload a bunch of images that got damaged during the crash plus my model releases plus the new images I would be interested to know what the recent experiences of uploading are. Thanx SY

I uploaded 8 across a few days this week and they were accepted at the same time on Friday (new reviewing system like SS?).  My sales there this month have been pretty healthy too.

edited:  One thing I did notice a couple weeks ago though was that a new file "peruvian paso" horse didn't show up in search results for several days - I think it was more than a week.  It was an easy one for me to track - I think there were only 3 other similars.   But - most importantly, it did eventually get there.  I don't really check keyword searches much - so it's the only one I can make this comment for.

What else happened in DT in that shortage? I know some sales were lost - was anything done about it?

Adelaide

I've only sold one or two images for the month. So far Istockphoto's my best seller. Maybe people who buy at Dreamstime prefer people pictures or something.

Adelaide, there were no sales lost during that crash.
