Hello dear friends, after more than a year I just started uploading again to Dreamstime. I just submitted a handful of new images, they are accepted yet even after few hours they didn't showed up on my public portfolio. "Latest Uploads" page on my public profile there still shows the photos I've submitted few years back.

Does anyone having similar experience? Also my earnings there $30+ for almost a year. You guys think still worth a shot? I'm submitting - you guessed right - ai generated images to see if I can have some sales on DT too. I'm still thinking if it's waste of time or not.  :o

Generally when you ask yourself if it is a waste of time you already know that it is a waste of time  8)

Seems to be working fine for me. Latest uploads a few days ago and the're in my profile. Regular images, not AI.
But sales are broken, that's for sure :-)

I don't think you can generalize that. I have 4 - 5 payouts a year. That's okay for the effort involved

No problems with uploading here.

I caught myself questioning the question of rather should I upload or not; so while asking myself the question of questioning my options I also wanted to ask on the forum the question about uploading or not question.

Yes, seems something is wrong. I uploaded yesterday and files are still in upload section. Tried again today, just go round in circles. So uploads not going through to review section.

Dreamstime has unfortunately become a waste of time. Just look at yuri arcurs "new" portfolio (his old peopleimages portfolio) there. It is performing miserably
My sales are extremely poor (almost just 35 Cents Subs). Back in 2014 / 2015 it was near good as Fotolia.

But at the moment they really do take almost everything. I have an acceptance rate of approx. 91.5%.
However, keywording is not as convenient as with Adobe.

so YURI guy has a new DT account?! I'm assuming he's posting to other agencies too of course, not just DT. Interesting that he uploaded there. I'd think that he'd stick with top earners or something.

People images account is new since Dec 2021, since then he has made over 21,700 sales - not great, but still probably worth having an intern upload them all - or making some sort of deal and sending a hard drive to them. Even at only .35 per sale that still adds up to over $7500.

I do wish DT sales were more frequent and for a higher value than the usual .35 but it has been a  long time since they had "exciting" news for contributors and they do still get sales. As far as is the site broken, I haven't noticed any recent problems other than maybe being a few days behind in sales reporting and sales that appear and disappear over a day or 2 before they stick around.

Just test the site with a 1.15GB 4K video via FTP. Uploaded in 5 min and accepted in 10 minutes.  All seems fine at my location of Seattle WA

I'm sharing the screen shot of my page right now. None of my accepted files appearing on my profile page. Maybe they just hate me  :D

There is some lag between files getting accepted and showing up in your portfolio and search. Also between sales and reporting. Give it a few days.

Exactly, sometimes even longer than some days, up to three weeks.

Does it took years too? Because that's what happened in my case. Images on my DT profile are years old and images I've submitted after them aren't showing up. There's also an accepted video there which is not showing. I had correspondence with help few times back then but they couldn't solved it and just dropped my ticket.

Since 2006 myself, dear friend. My images are each time instantly validated each time I upload.
If you know it all, why having created this post?
$30 a year after 12 years there?  :o :o I understand why you consider that generating AI images is the only solution for you.
Another solution would be to progress in skill to provide something other than pointless snapshots, that is my chosen path during many years.

[edit]: And you wonder why images processing takes so long?
They are very busy, dealing with all the AI crap sent en masse by tons of incompetent lazy people who have become prompter artists.

My accepted pics take days to show up in my port, it's been this way for quite a while. Sometimes their upload is kind of wonky too

I don't know how long, but I noticed that my recent accepted illustrations show up under illustrations and not "photos".

Once again, as long as they show up for people to buy, I don't care much about if I can see the private information. If I thought I had people looking at my portfolio link by name (because I'm so wonderful and special) maybe I'd be concerned.

Thanks for mentioning that, I'll look again in a few days. But nothing urgent or important.

Thank you all for your wonderfully helpful and extremely insightful replies... such old and wise people you are - besides being very respectful and knowledgeable. And reminded me once again why I avoid posting these forums. I truly appreciate. See you all 300 years later! And good luck; you'll need it ;-)

Did you look at Illustrations? Site says 11,495 images. Did you compare that number to what it was before the last upload?

If buyers can see them, it doesn't matter what shows on your profile. I see 13 latest close ups of a leather surface. Search for a recent upload, that's accepted and not on your profile page. Is it for sale?
