Title: DT: Extra Large, Alternative?
Post by: Pixart on September 26, 2008, 15:09
I had a sale of $4.63 of 12 credits for an "extralarge, alternative" sale at DT.

This is a level iv image that requires only 11 credits for xl.

Nice to see that $ amount (that's worth 13 subs!), but I'm not sure what alternative is or why it was 12 credits rather than 11.

Anyone know?

Did you have a RAW uploaded for that file?  Maybe it was the RAW that sold?

Just guessing.  I don't upload RAWs myself.

Heck no!  Not for an extra credit.  Perhaps for a few hundred extra credits ;).

That's probably for an alternative format (bmp, eps, gif, psd, png, tga, tiff, wmf) converted by DT from your jpeg file and was a new feature introduced in this August.  See Achilles's original post:

+1 credit for alternative format...

Ah, that's it!  Thanks for pointing that out.
