Yes I've made it all the way to two now this year. And honest, this isn't a complaint, just amusement. Here's the rejection reason, copy and paste.

Your image might have one or more of the following technical issues:

Distorted pixels, image was interpolated, poorly scanned, upsampled, oversharpened, overprocessed/ overfiltered or JPG was not saved at the highest quality.

The composition of a successful commercial image needs to be clear and supportive of the image's main concept and primary subject. A good composition is one that does not limit designers' potential usage of the image (for instance, a tight crop). Engaging the classical rules of composition, such as the rule of thirds, the golden ratio or a supportive use of negative space may help you to produce good commercial images.

Poor lighting due to lighting conditions (wrong time of day, dull skies, harsh shadows etc.) and/or camera limitations / Poor contrast or incorrect exposure.

Please improve the technical execution (distorted pixels, noise, blending, DOF, color corection, background removal, white balance, dust on the camera sensor, etc.)

Illustration is poorly executed. Please pay attention to: poorly traced/autotraced and scanned images, noise and inaccurate texturing on 3D renders, aliased/jagged lines, banding effect on gradients, noise/distorted pixels on various textures and images used within the illustration, unwanted orphan stripes/lines across your illustration, blurry illustration due to software upsampling or interpolation.

This image was not uploaded completely and cannot be reviewed. Please reupload it. Once uploaded, make sure the thumbnail of the image does not contain horizontal color error lines, gray areas (with no content visible) or is not entirely gray.

Image is out of focus or too much of the subject is out of focus (DOF too shallow or DOF not justified) / Image is shaken. Use a faster speed or a tripod. Please check the files at 100% zoom before submitting them.

The area occupied by the isolated subject is too small, and by cropping the resulting image is under 3 Megapixels.

Image was not saved as sRGB or Adobe RGB

Can anyone tell me why my image was rejected?  ::) I get the idea that the reviewer just didn't like it at all?  :)

The other rejection was because DT has a site that creates Social Media Banners, and I had cropped an image to make something already accepted into a banner. (with copy space of course)

This image is identical or almost identical to another submission that was already approved in your portfolio. Please avoid uploading images twice to keep your approval ratio high.

Please do not duplicate over and over again contents from images already online by reusing the same elements in collages with the same artistic value.

Nobody (human person) reviewed your image.  This is all AI.  Same as SS, but DT threshold is very low so 99.99% of images pass, while SS threshold is quite high so lots of perfectly exposed and technically sound images get rejected.   Write-up is generic text someone composed & AI software then just dumps it in email message.

My only DT rejection this year is:

AI figured it was recognizable person and rejected.  I didn't bother to submit as editorial as AS accepted it as RF & I think image has sale potential as such.

It's all getting quite ridiculous with AI these days;  we are playing the game to outsmart the software which is all wrong IMHO

i dont care about their rejections anymore and as for dt i dont even bother to  read the reason why.i posted a pic of a sea with ships near a town  and it was rejected on DT  for some reason  when i posted it to another site it was sold
 same with adobe
unfo they use an AI and it makes difficult for some new in stock photography to built a big portfolio to these sites and get a lots of sales

Yeah, because they have that site for Social Media Banners that are made from our standard uploads. So in English, they were saying, don't send in duplicates or similar.

I liked this part too:

Please do not duplicate over and over again contents from images already online by reusing the same elements in collages with the same artistic value.

I know that most of us, like it or not, feel like we are uploading good ideas and good images and being rejected is kind of a slap in the face. I mean, if I thought I was really uploading "crapstock" then I wouldn't be offended, I'd expect the rejection, but I don't know anyone who uploads something, because we know it's no good and it's going to be rejected. Who wastes their time doing that?

Yes, I'm guilty of now and then for a laugh, uploading something to SSTK that I think, can I sneak this past them?

Mostly true, I don't get those uploads, so that part I'm missing? But I'll say, the image was with shadows and Sun, guys running, * and spraying champagne at each other, so it's really not important and of course everything looks kind of crappy, terrible lighting, as it's under pretty poor conditions. There are others... (what Duck-ing is a swear word?)

Well Well, I just checked and they are telling the truth, my latest upload and 350 others are on the other site:  https://www.timelineimages.com/
