All I can say is wow!!  Too good for stock but seems to sell really well without a "businessman" in sight.

What a beautiful and original portfolio. It's great to see something so different doing so well. Good for her! And great job by DT for recognizing something as diverse as this.

I always wondered how that kind of art is done. I love that. I just want to sit next to the artist and look from the blank canvas to the finished image. I am just soooo curious how thats created. I would even pay for it, just to watch.

Wow stunning work.  It's almost a crime that images like that are selling for pennies.

You have to realize that the artist uploaded them to DT in the first place...

If I created such nice images I would NOT upload them to any micros.

Yes that is exactly the point I was making.

Totally agree with you.  There is a line...but we all individually decide where that line is....and this person simply may not be aware of the other options available to them.  That being said, someone with this talent level surely would do some research to find out which options are available.  Who knows? In any event, fantastic port.

She has a similarly Gothic quality to Mark Ryden, although not quite so bizarre...

I thought you were criticizing DT for their pricing scheme rather than criticizing the contributor.

If he/she is selling this stuff for pennies, I wonder what else they are selling through other channels then.

Agreed. It's not just the originality and the quality of the execution but also the time it must have taken to create such images. She would surely have done better as an Istock exclusive with many of her works in the Vetta collection.

Yeah, way too good for stock but, then again, I guess the music industry shows that it's probably ok to sell electronic copies of actual art at a low price along side the "file under product" pap that is popular.

What is interesting about the IS port is that it's about the same age but smaller with a lot less sales.  Is it at all possible that IS reviewers have actually rejected some of these pieces?   :o
