2) DT will take back  all the bonus (not too much for me actually) which for exclusivie photographer? How do they?
3) I can upload my photo to any agency duiring the 6 month? i am wondering

You might want to check out the terms and conditions of exclusivity on the site:

http://www.dreamstime.com/terms.php#contributors

"an Exclusive Contributor may terminate their status as an Exclusive Contributor with thirty (30) days prior written notice to Dreamstime.com. If an Exclusive Contributor terminates this Agreement prior to the passage of six (6) months, Dreamstime.com reserves the right to recover all commission payments made to the Exclusive Contributor prior to the termination of Exclusive Contributor status. These payments include the upload bonus received after each accepted submission and the extra percentage earned by exclusive contributors."

And regarding the specifics, I'd clear them by creating a support ticket.

Yep, that's the way it works.

If you want to end your exclusivity contract, you need to give them an official 30 day notification - just send a message to support. After these 30 days pass, your exclusivity status will be removed. If you are not totally removing your images from DT you can start uploading them to other agencies after your exclusive status has been removed - 30 days.

You will only have exclusive commissions removed if you terminate your exclusivity contract before you've been with DT for 6 months. Otherwise you keep them.

Another condition regarding 6 months is applied if you want to remove all your images from DT, not just upload them somewhere else too. You can disable all your images that are older than 6 months but must keep 70% of your most recent images (added in the last 6 months) for another six months from their approval date.

Again, that is only if you want to close your DT account, not simply end your exclusivity agreement. So, bottom line - if you want to stop being exclusive at DT you just have to email them with that request and wait 30 days before you can upload at other places.

I think I remember you have to send them a notarized letter signed in blood?  Can't remember if your first born was part of the deal too.  Maybe I'm wrong I stopped with them a while ago.

Not often I use this, but  ::) Did you ever try removing exclusivity? No? Why do you invent problems then? You had a quarrel with DT about something else entirely, if I remember correctly. Why drag it into this setting where it is totally irrelevant  ???

I had absolutely no problems removing my exclusivity. In less than 30 days after a very friendly email conversation with one of the admins, all my files were marked as "non-exclusive". I got to keep all of the bonuses, even for files uploaded in those 30 days. Absolutely no problems at all, very easy-going, professional and friendly people to deal with.

My conversation:

"Comments: I will be doing some photo shoots with disabled children, and wish to sell these as RM. Since that is not possible while remaining exclusive to Dreamstime, I regret to inform you that I wish to cancel my exclusivity status. I have enjoyed working exclusively with you, and will enjoy continuing working with you as a `normal` contributor. Best regards, XXXXXXXX

Yes, for 30 days. Something I knew about and agreed to when I applied for the exclusivity status. I read my contracts before I sign them. And if I don't agree with the terms, I'll turn down the deal. So I don't see the need to complain when the other side sticks to the contract too.
But, as I said, I seem to remember that it was less than 30 days in reality.

You can start uploading to other sites within the period, as long as the pictures aren't for sale before the time is up. Just let them stay in the queue, don't finish the keywording etc. before the waiting period is over. It is a good idea to do that for sites with strict upload limits, and also they will get reviewed much faster if it is a while since they were uploaded. But don't do that with 123RF and Scanstock, those sites review the files directly from your upload. SS, IS, BigStock, DP, CanStockPhoto, YAY, and Veer let you leave files in the queue until you are ready to submit. Those are the ones I use, I don't know about the other. (My referral links are here: http://gajasworld.blogspot.com/2010/08/oppsummering-juli.html, if you want to use them, or you could support leaf and this site and use the ones on the right side here).

If you need to get approved to other sites, you can do the applications within the waiting periode. But again, only as long as you don't put any files up for sale.

Don't forget the part where they say they can change anything they want and you are still locked in.  Even if they decide to give away all content for a penny, you can't leave.  It's in the TOS.

From the terms of use:

"Contributors are required to keep at least seventy (70%) percent of their portfolio online with Dreamstime.com for a period of at least six (6) months. You may disable all files older than six months from the date of review at any time. You will be allowed to disable a total of thirty (30%) percent of your total images submitted within the past six (6) months. Images that were disabled and then enabled again will be counted as new submissions, no matter of their original upload date."

and

"We reserve the right to update and/or change our pricing structure as needed including but not limited to changes based on our community, imagery database or market trends."

You should also know that for exclusives:

"If an Exclusive Contributor terminates this Agreement prior to the passage of six (6) months, Dreamstime.com reserves the right to recover all commission payments made to the Exclusive Contributor prior to the termination of Exclusive Contributor status. These payments include the upload bonus received after each accepted submission and the extra percentage earned by exclusive contributors."
