I am astounded!

I have to share this I'm so excited!   Here I am at my desk... it was a record breaking -53C  with the windchill last night and I have to check if the school busses are running... of course not!  On Saturday we went to hockey and the power steering hoze snapped it was so cold.... (Global warming?   Hardly feels that way).  This time of year is tough in Canada!

I'm here to check the school board - but I can't resist checking stats.  My portfolio is pretty meager, mostly agriculture and nature shots.  Everyone always discusses earnings and I clock in at about $10 per month (pathetic I know, but I still click my heels every time I get a sale).  I was expecting my first payout shortly...

Over Christmas I model released family and went to the school for a series of teacher/student shots.  They were approved on Dreamstime on about Wednesday.... I couldn't believe it: 12 uploads in 3 days.   Feeling pretty good about myself.  And then it happened.

An extended license sale.  These pics have been up less than a week.  I can't believe it!

Okay... any awkwardness I had about model releases is now over!  Thanks for hearing my ramble.  Had to tell someone!

GeoPappas:
Congratulations.

Can you provide a link to the photos that you are talking about?  I would love to see them.

Pixart:
Sure, happy to!  I guess a link to my Dreamstime portfolio?  They are the most recent uploads.

This is a great way to start off a Monday.  I'm still grinning a couple hours later.

Congrats! Photos with people sell well.

I can see why they are selling.  At first, I thought that they let you take photos during real classes (and I couldn't believe that they would allow that), but then I realized how you did them.  Very smart use of your resources.
