Now it hit me too.  Reason: "Image may be inappropriate for stock"

What exactly is Dreamstime's plan here? Remove all photos in the database related to certain everyday topics so their customers have to go somewhere else if they need photos of these topics?  :o

I got another one today. Seems like they are doing it is batches Or maybe it was an end-of-the-month quota.

Same here. Ones that sell are being removed. My last one was a piggy bank looking at a noose.  That sold fairly frequently.  Have no idea what WOKE or virtue signaling message that brings to qualify for removal.  Violence? S_H_I_T, it's reality in an inferential context.

The same here, last week 2-3 images, I said OK, they don't need them anymore. This week another huge bunch of images, all kids doing gymnastics or playing on the beach.
And the reason? Not a Stock image.
So, I assume, they don't want images with kids anymore.

And yes, all were good sellers. They are not even listed in refused images or deactivated images, they are just lost in Nirvana.

What's inappropriate about this? Sure, I know some people don't like muzzles on dogs, but I also don't like eggplants, no reason to forbid photos of them. In many European countries dogs have to wear muzzles in places like public transportations. It's a law - so what's inappropriate about showing a dog with a muzzle?

And what exactly is Dreamstime's plan here? Remove all photos in the database related to certain everyday topics so their customers have to go somewhere else if they need photos of these topics?  :o

Can confirm, in Europe muzzle in public transports is a law, even in some parks or outside areas.

Unfortunately we can no longer keep online images with Caucasian white people wearing American Indian attire (or any other type of native people). This is now considere cultural appropriation so images, even with children, need to be removed.

Watch out, anyone wearing sombreros!

Holy cow, no one can wear a costume anymore, or anything.

Tell the Minnesota Vikings their mascot and team is "cultural appropriation" and inappropriate. I always thought they were an insult to Nordic heritage anyway.  ;) And as someone of Italian heritage, I'm offended by anyone dressing like a gangster and carrying a Tommy Gun, plus, my other half being Transylvanian, I want you all to stop with the Vampire disrespect!

You may not dress in a cape and wear fake fangs, I'm terribly offended. Besides Vlad Teps wasn't even Transylvanian in the first place!

Hey can we still dress like Columbus or Custer?  ::)

My neighbor is 25% native American and looks pure Caucasian white male. He is member of his tribe here as well. So he cannot wear his tribe clothing anymore?

I just had two images of Grey Wolves feeding at a White-tail Deer Carcass (uploaded in 2018) removed. Apparently blood and gore - however natural - is offensive now.

And I have no recourse to argue it.

Your loss Dreamstime - the other 2 sites that have them will get the benefits I guess.

I can only guess, no noose images, which could on a distant really bizarre planet be representative of a lynching. Problem with that is, lynching is not a criminal attack that limited to people of color, but somehow now it's forbidden as racist.

Example:

Also:
The March 14, 1891, New Orleans lynchings were the murders of 11 Italian Americans in New Orleans, Louisiana, by a mob for their alleged role in the murder of city police chief David Hennessy after some of them had been acquitted at trial. It was one of the largest single mass lynchings in American history.
The lynching took place the day after the trial of nine of the nineteen men indicted in Hennessy's murder. Six of these defendants were acquitted, and a mistrial was declared for the remaining three because the jury failed to agree on their verdicts. There was widespread suspicion in the city that an Italian network of criminals was responsible for the killing of the police chief, in a period of anti-Italian sentiment and rising crime. Believing the jury had been bribed, a mob broke into the jail where the men were being held and killed eleven of the prisoners, most by shooting. The mob outside the jail numbered in the thousands and included some of the city's most prominent citizens. American press coverage of the event was largely congratulatory, and those responsible for the lynching were never charged.

And now they are killing Columbus Day which was established as an Italian American celebration of history and pride. Lets lynch and erase history. Wait though, will pictures of Columbus or his ships be the next subject to be banned? I shouldn't give them any ideas. Although we could upgrade and make it Lady Gaga day, or Madonna day or Frank Sinatra day? All famous Italian American's? The lefties would love Jane Fonda Day?  ;D

Is this their new way of saying "this photo hasn't sold in 24 months"... because I didn't remove any of them and did not check if I could improve keywords.  I no longer get that message...

I had a couple of a raccoon in a trap that were kicked out - not appropriate.  They've been online for a while and sell fairly often, I assume to pest-control companies (which was my intention).  Now that I think about it. I also have a couple of a mouse in a snap trap that they probably will pull, as well as one of a cat with a chipmunk.  Can't imagine what they are afraid of - raccoons almost never sue.

As someone with an Irish grandfather, I always wonder how Notre Dame gets away with their Fighting Irish mascot - making fun of drunk, fighting Irish I would think would raise some eyebrows, but apparently we don't care enough to object.

Really? Did they already do cultural appropriation outfits, Columbus, and you can't say Gay? When do they get to the Civil War, or people who have fallen from grace because they did bad things in the 1800s? They will be erased.

I didn't make all of that up. Didn't IS just remove images, with some keywords, besides we don't have the ability to edit them, so, IS just deleted the images.
