Hi all.  I just had an image rejected at DT for the following reason:
"White balance parameter was not correctly assigned"
Guess the reviewers are getting creative over there.

You're right, I should have said "newest to me", but more important, what does it mean?  I shot in RAW and chose the WB to be what I felt the image needed.

It means that the reviewer thinks you got the WB wrong.

Can't really offer an opinion on whether the reviewer was right without seeing the image, but DT does let you "appeal" a rejection if you can make a case for acceptance.

I've been tosssing in a few grab shots this week.  DT keeps kicking them back for trademark.  The logos are definitley gone, but I can't figure out the trademarks.  Are stripes on shoes trademarks?

Adidas stripes are trademarked.

Yeah, the shoes are the first thing I thought of. And I'm not sure, but number nine looks like she might have some type of logo on her white socks. But it's just at the edges of the socks, so I doubt that's it. Number eleven may be the problem. Her left shoe looks like it could be harboring a pink Nike logo. I can't tell due to the size of the photo.

:D  I don't think you will find any more trademarks/logos than in the world of sports.  The Adidas stripes makes perfect sense, DT must reject any kind of detailing on shoes.

If I have this much trouble with a simple soccer photo, I doubt I'll be submitting many hockey portraits this winter either - likely 75% of the kids and equpment are covered with some kind of logo.

:D   LOL!!   Try doing sport for a living!   Love to have more of my images in the microstock world..  but it takes way too much time with all the stripes/logos etc.  Might find something a bit easier!!!   ::)   any suggestions?

Haven't had the WB rejection yet, but I can't figure DT out. I submit two similar pictures, one gets accepted, the other gets rejected for "this is a very well covered subject". So, you mean I pushed the category over the edge with the first picture? There doesn't seem to be any pattern to their rejections which is really getting to be a major waste of time.

Bottoms of the shoes may be trademarked also.
