Title: One of my DT in a book bought as a sub ?
Post by: MicrostockExp on November 28, 2008, 10:21
By searching in Amazon, I found one of my picture in a travel book with my credits along with DT name.
I check and i sold this pic only once at DT as a subcription.
What is your take on that , you think I should inform DT ?
I never had an EL at DT by the way

Cheers

On istock, you certainly don't need an EL to put a picture in a book.  You should check the DT license to see if that is the same.

Similar happened with one of my pictures, sold as subscription, published in an educational (japanese) book.
DT informed me that for such purpose no EL license is needed.
Bummer.... :'(
