Title: Refusals question
Post by: dnavarrojr on August 07, 2008, 13:01
Is DT like all the rest where "beauty is in the eye of the beholder?"  In other words, if I re-submit the exact same file again is it possible for it to be accepted by a different reviewer?

I've emailed support to clarity their generic reason for refusal of an image because the description didsn't make any sense based on the type of image it was.

But on other sites, I've just re-submitted the same image and gotten it through.

I have re submitted images (after some time) and got accepted.

Yes!, the likelihood ( I would think) is that you will meet a different reviewer.

If you get rejected for "This is a very well covered subject in our data base or the subject of your image is too specific." - do you think you can acceped by another reviewer?

if you just upload the same image after some time you can get accepted no matter why that image got rejected first time. But if you use "resubmit" button, maybe another reviewer can see the reason for rejection...I am not sure...

I clicked on re-submit and uploaded the EXACT same photo with some IPTC changes (added a couple of keywords and fixed a misspelling and it got accepted.
