I'm glad to see somebody can keep up the 100% day celebrations :)

You might say that it's quite "sustainable."
I saw IS announce in a thread that they will NEVER have another 100% royalty day, even for exclusives only.

He said Monday or Tuesday on the forum.

I'm even thinking of uploading something...

Is anyone waiting until the pending images number comes very close to the online images number before they submit? Right now online is images equal 9,972,252 and pending is 15,629, about 12,000 or so shot of 10 mil.

The review times are usually about a week, so if the expected time is on monday, it is to late to upload now.

That was my usual experience as well, but I uploaded some images yesterday, submitted them this morning and a few hours later they were accepted and are now online.
The first time that I ever had such a fast review from DT.

same here, I uploaded a whole bunch of images, wait time was estimated at 4 days, and they  were reviewed in a day, so I'm waiting until the pending numbers gets much closer to making the total number 10,000,000.

I would be very surprised if it was Saturday or Sunday. It wouldn't make much sense to announce the 100%/110% royalties day just to make everyone angry because it happened to be Sunday.

They obviously can push that to Monday if they want (I was under the impression that they don't review or don't review much on the weekends anyway, so it shouldn't really be a problem for them).

Nothing is adding up, the pending numbers when added to the online numbers do not reach 10,000,000, the estimate is the 22nd down from the 25th, when images are uploaded the are estimated to be reviewed in 150 hours, then they are reviewed in a day or two. What should we believe?

Nice but I can't help feeling they will only use a tiny bit of the money they have made from our commission cuts.

I knew someone would have to say that.

Let's look at it this way - Istock cut royalties to less than half what Dreamstime pays, and they simultaneously eliminated Punctum Day awards.

Are we so beaten down that we can't even enjoy a bit of good news? Considering how much bad news there has been out of the micros lately, I am more than happy to give Dreamstime credit where credit is due.

Agreeing 100%,  credit where credit is due.

I agree as well. Dreamstime also has the great system where the more a picture sells the more it earns. I like that. I just wish they had a more professional name.

I would suggest not making decisions based on their projections, since they have no way to know for sure how many images will be submitted during that time. Inspectors are anxious to get there too, I'd guess, and may be increasing their output in order to reach the goal ahead of schedule.

I am uploading some files each day, and not obsessing too much about figuring it all out. ;)

I just wish they'd do more marketing or something... I have a smaller portfolio on ShutterStock and make 20 times the money there than I do on DreamsTime.

This race to hit 10 mills is rather good for my approval rate :)

They are reviewing files at a record pace. I submitted yesterday, and already through the queue! Too bad after the 10m it will be back to a week review time.

Monday. 18,817 images left. It's a very nice gesture from DT since it sacrifices (200 working days in a year) 0.5% of its income. I figure they pushed the reviewers a lot since approvals were only 2 days the past week.

All my pending images have been approved super-fast, and the queue is longer than the number of images needed to get to 10,000,000, so I know I won't win...  :) Even so, it's great fun to watch when it will be.  Thanks Dreamstime!

I have 7 images awaiting review and it may be the only time I've been wishing that ETR countdown clock would slow down a little!

I guess it's better to have them approved sooner than later though, so they are online when the big moment occurs.  It's been fun to watch and I hope that it jump-starts my small portfolio.  My seven pending images are seasonal so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are timely and in demand.

Don't forget that some are rejected though
