I am loving Dreamstime.  So nice that one of the agencies is still taking care of contributors!  Thanks DT!! :D

Hmmm. It's a nice boost to today's earnings but in truth all we actually are getting back is a tiny fraction of what they took off us with the reduction in commissions last year. The extra I've got so far today roughly equates to what I lost on the last 3 EL's I sold, having gone from 50% to 33% commission. Heigh-ho.

I feel like I'm standing on the sidelines and can't get into the game - LOL!  I have 7 seasonal pictures that have been under review since last night.  I am really hoping they get released today and get some notice in the New Images que so my dinky little portfolio has a hope of seeing a sale today.  I really like DT and hope to be seeing more action there as my portfolio grows.

I'm seeing pretty good sales today, so I am very happy.

I understand there was a royalty drop, but as I said earlier in the thread, other sites dropped royalties too, and either never had 100% royalty day, or else got rid of it.

I'm still really pleased DT did this.  They certainly didn't have to.  I guess I don't see the point of throwing other gripes into this happy, positive thread.

Makes sense, but of so, they shouldn't have put "NOW" last night, when they had not reached the 10M mark yet.

From what I read on the DT forum last night is that the counter script was for the clock on your own computer.  I just had a sub sale for .35 and can't figure out why (unless partner site sales aren't affected by this).  Just wish that dl I got yesterday for 14 credits would've happened today :D  So far my question about this on DT hasn't been answered and I'm not gonna bug support about it as I'm sure they've got their hands full at the moment.

Only two sales so far, a 7 credit sale and a sub sale. For me it's not about the sales I can get within a single day though, but the goodwill DT is showing all of us (whether exclusive or not) in a time where other agencies are turning their backs on us. It deserves admiration.

I only had one DL today but it was for $11.54. That's pretty cool.

I agree. After all the hits we've taken at another site which doesn't need to be mentioned, it was just nice to be recognized and rewarded. A little goodwill goes a long way, too bad other agencies don't feel the same way.

doesn't look like I am going to get any DL at DT today, which is a shame. I did have some images "under review" when they hit the number, but obviously not at the perfect time. curiously enough when I went and looked at the page showing the winner, it said photographers needed to upload pictures and contribute to the forums and blogs to win, I thought it was all about hitting the magic number - well, I bet if the number turned out to be some boring texture background or something they would pick another one, so why not pick one from a busy active contributor too?

In any case, this shows more goodwill for contributors than others have shown lately, although I am still a little bitter about the % age drop.

I suppose there are a few hours left, so hopefully I will get at least one DL (preferably an EL)

I just had one lousy sub sale on the magic day while I had a few large credit sales the days before. Even on Sunday I had more downloads. Oh well... there still is SS where I had a magic Tuesday to make up.

Totally idem ditto!
A pity... but still very nice gesture either way.

The winner was a decent picture, and I am very happy for the photographer, but I think everyone need to lay of the conspiracy theories. They inspected 20 000 pictures in the last days, I'm sure they could have picked something more symbolic or more "perfect" for the winning pic.

I had two sales yesterday, total earnings 10 dollars. Nice.

Huh? Nobody mentioned any conspiration theories here. Not with DT. If it was IS, well... I don't know.  :P
And @Artemis: of course it's a great gesture.

Well, the 100% day is over and wasnt one of the best selling days for me, but still was nice. In total i had 7 sales yesterday, but the first one didnt count (dont know why).

didn't sell much but even so, thank you DT!  (Certainly beats the highwayman approach of IS and a stupid competition that nobody is interested in.)

From my quote from pancaketom, and similar replies from several others earlier in the thread: "well, I bet if the number turned out to be some boring texture background or something they would pick another one, so why not pick one from a busy active contributor too?"

I didn't have any sales on this one. Hopeful for the next one, which is expected to be around March 22, 2011. If this times out right it may be on my birthday. LOL

Yesterday was an exceptional day for me with even an EL (50 credits  received $46.29)!
Sales went through the roof! Wish it was like that everyday, LOL!

Grrr, an EL on today Wednesday and rather large credit sales on Monday. Tuesday just one sub. Life can be cruel. I always read about other people winning the lottery. Very depressing, that's why I never buy lottery tickets. ;D

So glad for those who did well, and much appreciation to DT for the respectful gesture.

I also would have done a lot better if it had been the day before, but that's the luck of the draw I suppose.  Well done to all those who had good sales.  Better luck next time to the rest of us.  ;D

Same here. My Tuesday DT sales, were half those of Monday. And usually Tuesday beats Monday. Oh well. That's why I never play slot machines.  :)
