Title: Teasing isn't fair!
Post by: klsbear on February 01, 2011, 21:25
I uploaded some new images to DT 5 days ago.  They have been in-and-out of "Image Under Review" four times in the past 48 hours!  Down to 27 hours now - the lowest I've ever seen before review and approval.  I'm wondering what happens if they hit zero without review.   ???   Not fair that the reviewers are being such teases this week - LOL.

The way their ETR is being, well, estimated they might as well just drop it.

Leave it like any other agency and don't put any numbers there (or don't waste any more time on "developing" such useless features).

Yes, of all the agencies, DT one is the most stupid I must say.
If you are an Illustrator, it is even more funny.

1. Upload JPEG first
2. Wait 5 hours before it appears in Unfinished Files
3. Keyword everything and submit again.
4. Wait another 5 hours before it appears in Pending Files.
5. Before the ETR reach to 0, quickly submit your EPS (vector) into each file. If you don't, you will have to wait them to approve your file first and only then they allow you to submit the EPS. Even more funny is if you fail to upload your EPS within the time, they will delete the keyword "vector" from your file.
6. Wait another 1 week to get them approve the JPEG.
7. Wait another 3 weeks to get them approve your EPS.

So, total time to completely finish your upload to DT is 1 month. YES IT IS THAT crappy, and I am not kidding.

Hello everyone,
I agree, Leremy!
+ that stupid Java applet (or whatever it is) for uploading
+ after your eps file is approved, you have to go back and check your keywords, add the word "vector" to each one.
Why to make things easier when they can be complicated? I think that's the DT philosophy.

And last time they want me to submit the photo of the silhouette I submit.
Now, they want me to submit BOTH Property Release Document + the photos I take for the silhouette tracing.
How awfully troublesome.
