Three or four weeks ago I submitted a series of pics to DT but for some reason forgot to supply the MR. As a consequence all the pics were rejected with a 'please supply a model release' notice. Naturally I resubmitted immediately with the MR. The batch of rejections took my acceptance ratio marginally below 75% for the first time ever.

In the following couple of weeks my sales at DT plummeted; I blamed the new search engine but it could have been anything, including Memorial Day holiday stuff etc.

Anyhow, a week ago my approval ratio got back up over the 75%. Sales took off and the last week has been my BWE at DT.

We know that approval ratio is a factor in the new search thing at DT, but they won't say to what extent. It might be sheer coincidence, but in the two weeks mine was below 75% I had virtually no sales; as soon as it got back above 75% my sales took off like a rocket.

As I say - this might just be coincidence. Or it might be important.

Hi Hatman,

I don't have a fantastic approval ratio but my sales have been quite good recently??.
Also number of views seems to have picked up.
So, it's hard to know eh!

I haven't been submitting much, but last month I got 35% on a batch of 10 so my approval TANKED because of it... yet still my sales for the last 3 months have been quite even - even with the bad rating (unless it doesn't damage me until this subsequent month).

I just went through all my DT pics and changed any titles that strayed from the main subject matter and put in as many descriptives like "teenage" etc. that would fit. Some of the titles seem like broken English but we'll see if the extra words will help this month. I have to do this at Lucky Oliver as well because they changed their search last month also to include title words. I tended to use little more hip titles there so back to the boring factual description!

- yes it't true). Perhaps I should as my downloads have dropped way off for June (just two this month!) Mine is awful <50% - from the sounds of this thread I'd better improve that number.

Until this week I had uploaded to DT in weeks, maybe over a month? Yet May was my best month at DT.. so that theory doesn't apply in my case..... who knows how the wheels turn?

my approvals ratio have dropped everywhere. DT is however the only one still selling for me. Even SS has gone bad.

I dont think it has anything to do with your failure to send in a MR. I had a big blue here with DT and my sales actually went up!
