Now it is -5!

Apparently they show a difference between limit and amount of uploaded files

All the updating stats seem to have got a bit flaky in the last few days.

Everything is off right now. Approved images don't show up after 24 hrs, # of sales different on all stats pages with at least 48hrs delay. No reported sales past 3 days (unusual for me). I think they are in a mess.

Update: I checked the DT forum and some large sellers reported exactly the same.

I uploaded for the first time there last week in 8 months.  My upload limit was at 50.  I upload again today and I can only upload 10???  Sounds like the have a database issue with all the things everyone's reporting.  Got on there with my phone earlier and the front page is messed up and it usually looks normal on my phone.  Wonder what's up.

My upload limit is still set at max. Haven't noticed any changes .. except last week my upload limit doubled but it seems to do that from time to time for me anyway.

Thing that worry me is that my accepted images % is going down , from 85% I had , now I get maybe 20% accepted in last batches , everything gets rejected for
same series reason , even unique images  that don't have even any similarity with previously accepted images in my portfolio.

In last months I'm doing better at 123RF with portfolio almost 2 time smaller than I have on DT , so my earnings are also sinking there , I don't know whats
happening but I don't like it.

Yesterday , first time ever I took a pencil , paper and a calculator and started thinking about exclusivity

You only have the full daily upload quota is your approval rate is 80% or over. If not, you will have 1/5-th of those quota = 10.

Ah yeah said it's at 69.1% probably going off the last time I uploaded which was back in June and had some rejections.  I just wish their review process was a wee bit quicker.  90+ hours everytime I do manage to upload is getting annoying.  It didn't used to be that long.  I think I'll wait until I get 10 done before I upload again.

Thanks.

I just go in everyday and put 10 of them in pending. I have a bunch sitting on there that I uploaded and just waiting till the next day to process them. I had the limit of 10 then I went back in that night and the limit was 52...???? I didn't even attempt to see if it was correct because it was to late to even think straight..anyway the next morning it was back to 10. Now just waiting for tomorrow.

How come you have only 2 uploads this month then?  ::)

Because the camera crapped out and I had to dig at the bottom of the barrel. I just uploaded close to 65...don't remember the exact number...four days ago...they are all still sitting in pending except for the ones that are sitting there waiting to put into pending. I still got three days worth at the 10 MPH speed limit sign. ;D

Ah well, per week it's still 4.5 times more than iStock. It's also better not to dump all at the same time but spread you risk of acceptance and also to stretch your exposure on the newest photos.

I hadn't really thought about it, but you're right. I imagine my reject ratio will probably be high because of the bottom of the barrel photos. Some are nature shots that they will probably come back and say we got enough of those. Some were those shots that I just couldn't bring myself to put on microstock because of the prices. Well I realized they aren't making me money sitting on my hard drive so I uploaded them too. It's been awhile since I uploaded to any of the sites because of my camera and I was trying to learn vectors and several of those were rejected last week because I didn't really know what I was doing...so my rejection ratio was already high when I uploaded all of these. By next week I'll be lucky if I can upload two a day.. :-\
