Are vector sales good at Dreamstime? I haven't uploaded there yet because I was waiting if my sales at istockphoto would be good and then opt for exclusivity. But now, I think that would not happen so I am now looking into uploading at Dreamstime.
Are vector sales good at Dreamstime? Is the volume high? Thanks!

Vector sales at Dreamstime have always been on a par with Stockxpert for me. Pretty good, however nowhere near iStock or Shutterstock but better than 123RF & Fotolia.
Uploading vectors at Dreamstime is slightly different to all other sites, in that you upload a hi-res (300dpi) JPEG of your illustration first, then title & keyword it, then you are given the option to upload an additional format as well (such as Illustrator 8 EPS).
The JPEG is reviewed first (usually after a few days), then they review the additional EPS file - the review time of this additional file can take up to a few weeks, but if approved it will eventually be added to the site along with the JPEG.

I remember speaking my mind about the potential issues this type of upload process for vectors brings (off-sync reviews of rasters and vectors). They replied that the buyer always has the option to request the "additional format" and with that I agree, but it certainly cuts off some sales, especially the impulsive ones.
On the other hand vector sales on DT are always great, the price is solid and the frequency more than acceptable.
p.s.: I'd like to see the reviews speed up and maybe a new uploading option made available (love the simplicity of the site, it's one of the best, but it mainly tricks you into thinking the process is smooth, when in reality it's very, very time consuming). They should implement some kind integrated FTP uploading for rasters and vectors (the one on 123RF works flawlessly, for example).

It depends on what type of imagery you produce. If it's design elements, they tend to buy vector formats more than if you make "finalized" designs.
Hard to explain, but you get the point. Creations that allow "recycling" get downloaded in vector format more easily. And of course the same thing applies to a complexity curve.
p.s.: Either way, lately Dreamstime buyers have a happy trigger with subscription sales (vector-wise). So you might take this into account as well. I personally don't mind, since it all levels out anyways, but you might like to know it.

Thanks domencolja! Most of my files are recyclables and icons so it should be in vector format.. but if it would take weeks to get it approved then I should only be expecting sales next month?
But I'll give it a try. I will start uploading to them. Thanks!

I have uploaded around 15 vectors today at dreamstime. Will have to wait for the Jpegs to be approved. Hope I will have good sales there.

Vectors sell pretty well there, unfortunately I get too many sub sales on them :(

The last time I uploaded vectors, the EPS files took 23 days to get approved. Vector vs Raster - about 3 to 1 sales ratio for me, vectors of course being more popular. When waiting for the EPS files to be approved I usually mark the Description as EPS File Pending, then when it is approved just delete that phrase in te description. Whether this helps or not, I don't really know, but I do it anyway in hopes someone will mark the image. Most of my vectors are credit sales not subs. In fact, I get very few subs overal at DT.

Yeah they improve it. The more downloads an image has the higher it is in the searches and increases the image's level. Even though I don't like to see that many sub sales (additional format mostly) since I need 13 of those to make me the same ammount of money as one credit vector sale. I'm pretty new and I don't reach a payout every month (100$). At the current rate it's something like a payout every second month.

13 subs for 1 credit vector sale? Sheesh! It's like 10 SS DL to compare with 1 10 credit IS vector hehehe! But hopefully the subs sales are frequent.
One payout in two months would be great for me! I just saw your portfolio and you have lots and lots of images. I only have max 50 and I have only uploaded around 15 which are still pending approval. Maybe 1 payout in 4 months would be more realistic for me! Hahaha!

Just got my first 16 vector files approved! Now I have to upload the EPS files.. The files are not yet available in the search engine. Hopefully it gets there soon.
