Title: Basic video editting software
Post by: whosvegas on February 16, 2020, 07:29
I haven't done much with video yet. But i would like to explore it.

I am looking for software for basic video editing.
At this moment i have a video, with an brand name that must be removed for uploading te stock sites
But i have no experience in video editing

At this moment, i don't want to spend much money on it.
Wich (free or cheap) software can i use to remove brand names in video's?

I don't do a huge amount of video work but I have found MPEG Streamclip (http://www.squared5.com/ (http://www.squared5.com/)) useful.

da vinci resolve has a free version. but "removing a logo" in video is not exactly beginner's work.....

Tracking and removing logos is a VFX.  Coming from the Adobe side, that's a job best served by After Effects, but Premiere Pro can do a lot of it as well.

DaVinci is a good free option. If you're a mac person, then try imovie (though I don't know if does tracking)
