Title: Best Option for sub $1k cam for video
Post by: wds on September 17, 2018, 09:07
I am primarily a stills shooter and want to shoot some stock video. What would be a good cam choice for under $1000? Maybe the Panasonic G85?
I would be shooting people stuff, but not what would be characterized as high speed action shots. More like people in offices etc. Would like to have stabilization.

The Panasonic GH4 was a fantastic camera for video and can be had second hand well within your budget.
It doesn't have stabilisation though and for still images it is a OK camera, but not a great one
