So they just announced the BlackBerry Play book http://na.blackberry.com/?IID=BIZPBK01#

1080p video with an hdmi connection it would be so sweet if this could be used as a monitor for 7d etc....

any tech heads care to specualte if it owuld be possible?

It's 10mm thick __ 25% thinner than the iPad at 13.4mm.

I guess they announced it before Christmas so Santa holds off on buying Ipads - but not releasing it until next year... cummon!  Would be nice to know the price as well.

RIM's stock down 4.4% on it's announcement. Someone thinks it's a loser.

quite surprising.  Seems like a pretty nice tablet to me.  Perhaps the 'drop' could be seen more as a correction.  The stock rose before the announcement then like often happens the stock drops to a reasonable level after the announcement.
