The exif say it's a 15mpx, but it must be a cropped version. Then we can expect a minimum 16mpx sensor

Is not a rumor anymore. Canon has announced it, it's on Canon's UK website. Also dpreview has an article on 50d and the full review is due to be posted very soon.
Yea, and it'll be my next camera, in a few months (if things go well with stock).
