I have noticed that when recording in 4K 30p on my Android phone, in fact there can be small variations in the frame rate. Some videos are 30p, some slightly less (e.g. 29.85). Will this be a problem when uploading to SS and P5? I know that strictly speaking they want 29.97p or 30p. Is there a way to handle this or is it not realistic to use Android smartphone for video?.

Thanks

29.85p will be a big question mark for customers even if they are accepted (which they probably won't be) so why not just change them to 29.97p in basically any software? FCP X, Premiere, After Effects etc.

I suppose I could do that in say Davinci Resolve, but I read somewhere that the whole file needs to be processed because the frame rate is embedded in the video data as well as the header. I will look into that however. I'm guessing the phone can't handle all the data and just slows down in the capture (the phone claims to be shooting at 30P).
