Was wondering if any other are having the same issue.  When I pull an image into Photoshop (any version including a standalone - CC & CS6) then run NIK Color EFeX Pro 4 (any filter) it starts to do its thing then inadvertently shuts down Photoshop.  I tried reloading Nik and that didn't work either.

It worked with Define, but not Color Efex.  Anyone else having the same issue?

Nope. Just ran a test and all is good.

I am on a Mac. There are a lot of complaints about it on Google forums. Looks to be a problem for me after the last update a few days ago.  Worked fine before that.  The issue for me is that it also killed my stand alone CS6.

I'm on a Mac also. I've never experienced the issues you are describing.
This Mac is only a few months old, I've done all the updates except I have not updated the OS to High Sierra.

I remember that some years ago there was some problem with the "Selective Tool".
Try to disable the "Selective Tool" plugin (close Photoshop, move the plugin out of the plugins folder, restart Photoshop)

I have the same issue, randomly it crashes Photoshop during the final processing. Found some proposed fix, seemed to work for some time but the problem came back, some days it works, some days it crashes constantly.

People can lament how much they want on the Google forums, Google can not care more: Nik collection has been acquired by DxO some weeks ago

I get that. Why do you think I am 'panicking?' Once NiK goes back to retail I may move to Topaz but until then I'd prefer not to have to pay...again.  I purchased NIK when it was for sale.

I don't think that you are panicking (how a strong man like you could?)
I just wanted to give you an information that apparently you had not.

And nothing and nobody has said (yet) that Nik will stop to be free (even if personally I am not sure that it will continue to be)
