well if the price is only $5,500 hopefully that will bring down the Canon 1DS mark III price.

I think it's not a rumor anymore, but the question stay, it's when it will be released. Speeching for myself, I'm still in front of the photography store waiting for my Nikon 16mpx who was supposed to be the D700

I am so happy Nikon brought the competition back to the DSLR market until a very recent past Canon was (arguably) dominating the market I think it will be us benefiting from this as there seems to be more competition between the two..

Yeah, Nikon could use a top gun camera to even out their lineup. Canon has ruled the mindshare game for a long time.

The D700 and D3 are hot but they need a 20MP+ FF DSLR if nothing more than to say they have one.

A 24MP FF D3x would be sweet.
