What kind of successes (or failures) with Featurepics Collection feature?
Is it worth the time and effort?

I can't say if it helps or not (you can get a higher exopsure if your collection is picked for a special subject, such as Valentine's Day or Christmas), but I like the fact that I can embed the collection in my own website or send a client the collection (not that I have ever done it).

Thanks for your feedback. I realize that other sites have collection or gallery type of features but it appears that featurepics has something novel here and that is someone can actually purchase an entire collection of yours through their interface. You also have the ability to offer the entire collection (15 minimum?) at a % discount.
I would still like to know if there is anyone who has actually sold one of these types of featurepics specific collections ...

You can indeed set a discount price for the collection.
The difference in FP's collection is that you can embed it in your own website, showing as a table. As far as I know, no other site lets you do that - all you get from them is a link that you can put in your website.
I think it is much more effective if the buyer sees all the thumbs, and if he gets interested he will click on the image and is directed to FP. A mere "click here to see my Valentine's images" is not attractive, or you would have to make your own table in your website with the thumbs. FP's solution is much more practical, and if you add images to that collection your website's page will reflect it.
