Hi all!
Which license are you using at featurepics? I'm currently using RF + business extension. Which one are you using? I've been with them for a month with competitive prices and haven't sold a single photo (those are doing very well at other agencies). Maybe it's the wrong license? I chosed it because it seems to give buyers the most flexibility.
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Olga,
many thanks for your reply. Do you do anything special after your photos got accepted. Like creating galleries, collection or anything like that? Is it necessary?
Thanks,
Michael

i am using the same license as you. My photos are generally price at $4-$5 with resize options. I sold 2 photos sold far this month, hope to sell more by end of this month ;-) One of the photos I got $2.80

Hi!
Hmm...maybe my prices are too low and people therefore think that the photos are lower quality ;-)
(I'm currently selling at 1 Dollar / Photo).
All the best,
Michael

I have made two collections, mainly because I can use them on my website and to get more exposure.
One of mine sold for the full $5 so I got $3.50, this one was not in a collection.
The strangest is the last one, sold low res an FP, (one from a collection), never sold on another site but sold same day on BigStock in high res ???

i think i have my images between $3.00 and $5.00. Sales are pretty rare though. One or two a month on a couple hundred pics.

RF+ with business extension... at $4.00 with sizing... only have about a dozen pix there and only on for about a month. No sales, highest view, 19. All National Park landscape material. Not expecting FP to provide for the purchase of my vacation home. :D [ I know that the general admonition is that landscape doesn't sell. But I have to say, SS is having no problem moving them for me ]
I will continue to build my 'folio at FP and I will branch out from the landscape material. My impression from you guys on other threads is that you think the site will grow. So I'm in for awhile. 8) -tom

I'm also using the small business extension. For the images I sell at microstock, I set prices ranging from US$2-3, depending on the image (subject/size/quality). I also have some of my macrostock images there at a higher price.
Collections are good to advertise (I put them in my website) and some themes, such as Christmas, may even be featured at their front page, what is good for visibility (my Valentine selection (http://www.featurepics.com/DigitalPhotos/Romantic-images-for-Valentines-Day-637.aspx) for instance is on the front page - I wished they had picked one of my images also!).

Adelaide
