So I saw today a video clip sale at Adobe for 1.56. I know SS has a deal which pays contributor $1.50 (which caused me to remove some clips there), but I didn’t expect Adobe to join in on the rape.
I pulled the plug on Getty while back for dollar vid sales, just limited And removed video clips at SS, stopped working with VB, so Adobe is next to get my left overs?
Anyone else seeing $1.xx sales at Adobe?

Mat was kind enough to look it up and, this is my error, I did upload a still 4K frame as jpg and did not change the title.
Put down the pitch forks, Adobe is quick to look into problems on here. Thanks!!

Looking back, I've gotten several of these $1.50 sales. Here was the response...
"These earnings are generated from downloads on a new footage marketplace that reaches an audience of millions who have never bought traditional stock footage before. These customers will have a very limited license to use the footage clips; clips will be licensed for use on a single platform to produce short-form digital content. Since the license is very limited, the 30% earnings is lower than what you are used to receiving from the core Shutterstock collection. These clips are still available for licensing on Shutterstock.com, so this additional income is incremental to the value your clips can earn on Shutterstock.com under the broader licenses granted from our website."

So if the use is more limited they pay us a lower percentage? I don't see them paying a higher percentage for sensitive use or extended print runs. I wonder if they can even hear what they are saying.

A little bird told me SS video sales 1.50$ are small resolution videos for web use, something like 500 px. I'm guessing social media.
And they're a good thing, every time a video sells, it goes up in search rankings.
Could be this? using videos to create job adverts on social media.

I usually use words as maybe, perhaps and similar.

No work labeled or claimed by an agency as
high quality asset
can be sold that low no matter the resolution
or license kind or the overall deal is.
