Matt: Are we allowed to use Adobe Firefly 3 Beta (that was released today) to generate AI images to be uploaded to Adobestock?

From what I have read, you are allowed to use features that are labeled as preview commercially, but not features that are labelled as "beta". So that means that you can use Firefly Image 3 (preview) to create images for Adobe Stock but you can't use the generative features in the April 2024 Photoshop Beta.

Interesting, I guess i should have been more careful about the distinction...yes in fact i am inquiring about "Adobe Firefly 3 preview" (not beta).
What you say makes sense, but i would also like to hear it from "Adobe"....Mat?

For features that are in beta, you can use the outputs generated from Firefly for your commercial projects unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product.

I don't see it stated anywhere that Firefly 3 (beta) outputs cannot be used commercially.

when Firefly 2 was in beta I generated 10,000 content of which I have some for sale on Adobe Stock, since it was not stated otherwise anywhere, from any official source.

so in my opinion there are no problems about it,but I'm not Mat,or an official representative of Adobe.

Is Firefly web version part of creative cloud or do we need to purchase it as new?
And does it gives unlimited generations or have any limits?

This information and more can be found in the Firefly FAQ linked here: https://www.adobe.com/products/firefly.html#questions-we-have-answers

The relevant answer to your question in the faq is that Your Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, Firefly, or Adobe Stock subscription now includes monthly generative credits that give you access to content creation features powered by Firefly.

thanks,

Mat Hayward
